Lupinranger vs Patoranger Episode 38 Review

The Lupinrangers get all the powerups, but that doesn’t make them the best team! It’s the story that makes them the best team. Hey guys, it is I, Kuroninja! Happy Halloween everybody, and it’s time for me to review Lupinrangers vs Patoranger episode 38! This is a good episode because ever since we’ve gotten a lot of filler, now the main plot is progressing further. So basically, in this episode, there’s a Lupin Collection thing in space, and the Lupinrangers have to get it. Now this Lupin Collection piece is none other than the Victory Striker. Meanwhile, the Patorangers run into 2 Ganglers. One of them is a lobster Gangler, and the other is this episode’s Gangler of the week, whose Lupin Collection piece lets him control vehicles. However, he can only control 1 at a time. This is when Zamigo finally shows up, and Zamigo’s appearances in this series are like Chris Jericho’s appearances in NJPW: when he appears, you know that the episode is very special, and something intense...

Kuroninja 2018 Halloween Special

Kuroninja had done a lot of stuff on October, such as attending a performance in Tokyo, attending a piano duet in Tokyo, and celebrating LupinYellow's Earth-0 counterpart's birthday in Tokyo. Kuroninja decided to finally leave Tokyo and head back to Kyoto. However, along the way, Kuroninja got lost and ended up in a graveyard. That was when he got attacked by a flying scythe. Kuroninja turned aorund and saw his Earth-13 counterpart: Kuroshinja. "What the heck are you doing here?" Kuroninja asked Kuroshinja. "Well," Kuroshinja said, "I am here to put a stop to you. For years, I defeated several undeads, so that I can protect my nation and my family from the undead. And throughout this month, I have gathered evidence that you are an undead necromancer with an undead army!" "What the heck would make you think that?" Kuroninja said. "Well, you died a few weeks ago... " Kuroshinja said. "That was a fake death!" Kuro...

Kuroninja Gold Episode 8

Episode 8: Null and Void, Part 2 Kuroninja and Natsuki had returned to the Kuroninja Dojo. However, this wasn’t the same Natsuki that everyone knew before. Natsuki still had pink hair, but there was a streak of light grey hair. However, everyone was still excited when Natsuki announced that she was baking a special treat for all the students to thank Kuroninja for bringing her back. An hour later, everyone was waiting. Hirose was in the corner, making sure nobody could see him, holding his elemental trident. As for everyone else, they were waiting, as Natsuki brought out a tray of cupcakes. However, these weren’t actually cupcakes. They tasted a bit too savoury for cupcakes, and there was no icing. These were muffins. Sayori didn’t really mind eating muffins, but others were a bit suspicious, such as Shinnosuke Nakamura, and Antonio Vega. They knew that something was wrong with Natsuki, and that she wasn’t the same as she used to be. Vega decided to investigate. ...

Lupinranger vs Patoranger Episode 37 Review

It’s nice to see that the Lupinrangers and Patorangers are slowly opening up to each other. Hey guys, it is I, Kuroninja! You already know what this is, so let’s just get into it! So basically, in this episode, the Gangler of the week has the power to send people back to their home. This normally would sound like another weird power, but it’s actually a really good way to explain some character development. The reason why I say that is because...oh no...are you kidding me? It was the RED RANGER that was immune to this power? No, not just LupinRed. Patoren1 is also immune to this guy’s power! So basically, the Gangler’s power doesn’t work on LupinRed, which means that he doesn’t have a home. At first I thought that Kairi was a hobo, but then I realized something. Keichiro (who’s immune because he bought a tent) reminds Kairi of his brother, and we all know that Kairi and his brother didn’t really get along. I think what happened was that Kairi ran away from home because he wa...

Power Rangers Super Ninja Steel Episode 17 🗣

Y'know, I haven't really been that motivated to review Power Rangers recently. Hey guys, it is I, Kuroninja, and no, I haven't forgotten that Power Rangers Super Ninja Steel exists. It's taking a long time for Beast Morphers stuff to appear, so I guess me and some other reviewers are stuck with this season. But this episode wasn't all that bad, though. The recent appearances of one-off side characters has annoyed me, especially with a certain one-off character who deserves to spend his afterlife in the Underworld.  No, it's not Sheriff Skyfire, it's the other one-off character. But this episode wasn't all that bad. For once, not only did we get an interesting episode, but we also got to see a moral of the day that I actually enjoy! Suck it Toku Nation! Now even though Super Ninja Steel is worse than Ninja Steel, and I actually enjoyed Ninja Steel, there were a lot of things I liked about this episode! First, we got to see Tynamon actually do...

Kuroninja Gold Episode 7

Episode 7: Null and Void, Part 1 Throughout the days, Kuroninja was teaching his students in the ninjutsu dojo, but there was one student who wasn’t there: Natsuki. She had disappeared ever since Kuroninja saved her from Lord Nemesis, but nobody knew where she was now. Kuroninja knew that it was very weird, especially since Natsuki really wanted to become a ninja for some reason. That’s when Kuroninja decided to look back on what happened so far. Natsuki was attacked by Yajin Niroku and Ikustan, but then she got saved by Anti-Kuroninja. Natsuki was then kidnapped by the Nemesis Clan, but then Kuroninja rescued her from a cage, but the cage fell down. Natsuki thought that Kuroninja was dead, so she went to find another ninja master. Kuroninja knew exactly who it was. Kuroninja went to Cyber Island to confront Anti-Kuroninja and get his student back. Kuroninja had been to Cyber Island many times before, as he had fought Anti-Kuroninja many times. Dodging a lot of Cyb...

Riderverse Reviews: Kamen Rider Zi-O Episode 7

It's show time. Hey guys, it is I, Kuroninja! I had just came back from watching a performance in Tokyo, and it was really great! Speaking of performances, that's what this episode is about. So basically, this episode started with Sougo and co. going to see a magic show. Now when you think of magic shows, you think of pulling rabbits out of hats and cheap card-tricks. However, the magician performing doesn't do tricks. he's actually doing real magic. Geiz and Sougo wonder if he's using the power of Kamen Rider Wizard, even though there are other possible explanations.  Guess what? He is. This magician guy turned out to be Kamen Rider Another Wizard, who became an another rider to save his studio from shutting down. This is the first time we see an Another Rider who isn't a cereal kidnapper this time. He's actually using his powers to keep the show running, but then Geiz decides to attack him anyway. He only turns evil after finding out that the ...

Lupinranger vs Patoranger Episode 36 Review

So...is the Lupin Magnum going to do all the work for the Lupinrangers now? WAIT WE HAVENT EVEN GOT TO SEE VICTORY STRIKER YET- Hey guys, it is I, Kuroninja! Today I'm going to...actually, you probably know what this is already. Sorry about rushing the reviews, I was just focused on other stuff. There's also supposed to be this performance I'm watching tonight, and I covered one of the songs, but forget about it. Let's just review this episode already. So in this episode, the Gangler of the week is selling these necklaces that absorb people's anger. That's ok, because nobody wants to be stressed, but what he's actually planning to do is get all of that anger and use it to power a bomb that will destroy everyone. Now of course, the Patorangers haven't really been the focus of an episode for a long time, and since their alignment is Lawful Good, I can understand why. But anyway, Sakuya decides to buy some, and he and Keichiro end up wearing them...

Power Rangers Super Ninja Steel Episode 16 Review 🔧

Hey guys it is I, Kuroninja! Sorry this review took so long, I was focused on some other things, including some song covers on my youtube channel . I was so focused on a certain someone whose name starts with an S, ends with an I, and has 6 letters in it. But that doesn't mean I forgot about my reviews! So now let's review this episode! At first it looked like the average episode, with just a monster of the week and some random subplot, but then at the end, one of the main villains, who we didn't see in the last 2 episodes (which must've been why those episodes were bad) took the Ninja Fusion Star. I know exactly what he'll do with it: He's going to fuse some Skullgators together to create some skeleton monster that's really powerful. Now overall, this episode was... Good Anyway, that is all, and I have nothing to do with Shironinger!

Kuroninja News: The 43rd Sentai Season Revealed!

Hey guys, it is I, Kuroninja, and it’s time for Kuroninja News! Ok, so I know this isn’t much, but the 44th 43rd Sentai Team has been revealed! The name of the team is “Kishiryu Sentai Ryuusouger,” and it seems like they have a knights and dragons theme. I don’t know if this will be an interesting season, but I’m looking forward to the knights theme. I think there will be a red ranger (of course), a blue ranger, a green ranger, a black ranger, and a white ranger, based on the chromatic dragons of a certain tabletop roleplaying game, but I hope there isn’t a red ranger this time. Anyway, that is all, and I have nothing to do with Shironinger!

Riderverse Reviews: Kamen Rider Zi-O Episode 6

I’m sorry this review took so long. But it can still be justi φed. Hey guys, it is I, Kuroninja, and even though last episode was a tribute to Fourze, this episode is a tribute to both Fourze and Kamen Rider 555. And this time, despite the fact that this episode took so long, I was starting to get interested in the story. So anyway, in this episode, we found out that the Another Rider was not only Another Fourze, but also Another Faiz. Then we found out that the girl from last episode had actually died in 2003. This made me realize something. Now I haven’t really watched 555, but I know that the monsters there, the Orphnochs, were created from dead humans. So at first I thought that the girl was an Orphnoch, but then it turns out that the Another Rider was using his power so she could continue living. The Fourze powers were there because of another Time Jacker, who I’m guessing is the leader. So, overall, this was a good episode. The only thing I didn’t like about it was that...

Kuroninja Gold Episode 6

Episode 6: Inframundo Kuroninja had just returned from yet another date with Umika, and now he was ready to give lessons at the dojo. Almost everyone was there, except for one: Natsuki. Natsuki had somehow mysteriously disappeared from the Kuroninja Ninjutsu Dojo. Natsuki was in Cyber Island, outside the door, desperate to get in. She was trying so hard to get in, because she wanted to become a Void Ninja. The reason why was because she felt weak after getting defeated easily by Ikustan, and also because she thought Kuroninja was dead. However, no matter how hard Natsuki tried, Anti-Kuroninja would never let her in. Meanwhile, in Kuroninja’s dojo, Kuroninja was ready to give his students ninja weapons, because he thought they were ready. Natsuki was the only one who lacked the ninja experience needed for a weapon, but she wasn’t there. All the ninja students got their weapons, including staffs, nunchaku, katanas, and more. Antonio Vega decided not to choose a wea...

Lupinranger vs Patoranger Episode 35 Review

Hey guys, it is I, Kuroninja, and I couldn’t think of a good intro so let’s just get into the review. So in this episode, it mostly focuses on Kogure. That’s right, we finally get to know more about this mysterious character. It’s also obvious that he wants to assemble the Lupin Collection and he’s using the Lupinrangers to do that, but we still don’t know why. But now it’s time to...you know what, we’re already 35 episodes in. You should know the drill by now. This episode’s gangler is a mole-themed one who prefers hiding and running away, but he has a Lupin collection piece that splits people into 3 clones of themselves. The first one is the original, the 2nd one is all good, and the 3rd one is all bad. However, sometimes whether some stuff counts as good or bad can be a little subjective. For example, is pineapple on pizza bad? I don’t know, ‘cause I haven’t tried pineapple on pizza. This episode also introduced us to the Lupin Magnum’s robot form. It’s nice to finally see a g...

Kuroninja Gold Episode 5

Episode 5: The Episode Where Kuroninja Dies One day, in the park, Kuroninja’s students in his dojo were hanging out. The only ones who weren’t there were Haruna Nakamura, and Kai Hirose. Hirose was always mysteriously disappearing, but nobody really minded. As for Haruna, she was one of the ninjas invited, and everyone was waiting impatiently for her. However, she wasn’t there. 3 of the students, Antonio Vega, Shinnosuke Nakamura, and Sayori, were hanging out with each other, when suddenly, Nakamura noticed some portals appearing. Shadow Golems, under the command of soldiers that served the Nemesis Clan, had appeared. One of the groups led by a Nemesis Clan soldier approached the park. This was an invasion of the Nemesis Clan. “Attention everyone,” the soldier said. “Surrender now or be destroyed.” Antonio Vega put his chicken wrap down and prepared his ninja sword. As for Sayori, she charged into battle and was immediately taken down by a gang of Shadow Gol...

Momoninger is Missing III

Kuroninja and Umika were at an arcade, spending some time together. However, this wasn't just another date with Umika. Kuroninja had never gotten the chance to introduce Umika to Momoninger, and that's why he set up this date. Tsukasa was also there, spending most of her arcade tokens on the crane game, because she really wanted a stuffed animal. However, even though Umika and Tsukasa were enjoying hanging out with Kuroninja at the arcade, Kuroninja felt that something was wrong. Kasumi, or Momoninger, was never late before. This could only mean one thing: Momoninger was missing. Kuroninja was about to leave to search for Momoninger, but then he realized, he couldn't just abandon both his dates. Kuroninja had no choice: he was going to call a detective. Meanwhile, in the police station, detective Keichiro Asaka recieved a phone call from someone. It was from Kuroninja. Keichiro had been so focused on chasing the Lupinrangers and defeating Ganglers that he forgot ab...

Power Rangers Super Ninja Steel Episode 15 Review 💻

Seriously, what is it with these useless one-time-only characters in Ninja Steel? Hey guys, it is I, Kuroninja! The reason why this review took so long was because I was hesitating a little with the review. Last episode was so bad I actually used the Very Bad rating for the first time, so I was worried that this episode would be as worse as last episode. Luckily, I was wrong, but this episode is still very bad. However, at least I'm stronger than the rangers. Now you might be wondering what I'm talking about, why am I complaining about characters who make only one appearance and then disappear from the face of the Earth? Well, it's because this episode, just like last time, also had an unlikeable character. At least she wasn't an authority figure this time. She's basically an expert in tech stuff, and she ends up running into the rangers. This is when we see violation number 1: She's taking ninja lessons from Brody, the red ranger, but that's not...
