Kuroninja Gold Episode 18
Episode 18: A Slice of Life
In the dojo, Kuroninja was trying to find out where Lord Nemesis would strike next. He had to act fast, before Lord Nemesis could make himself immune to the Sword of Absolute Power. However, Kuroninja was really bored right now. One of his girlfriends, Umika, was trapped inside another dimension with the other Lupinrangers, while another of his girlfriends, Tsukasa, was busy fighting alongside the other Patorangers against the leader of the Ganglers. Fuuka and Kasumi were somewhere in the city of Nishinomiya, participating in a quiz show hosted by the red ranger of the Go-Busters, so Kuroninja felt very lonely, especially since this was the week where everyone was being reminded of Valentine's Day. Ironically, Kuroninja didn't have anyone to date on Valentine's Day because all of his lovers were busy.
All, except...one.
Flower Ninja Ayame, the blue ranger and leader of the Flowery Kunoichi Team, who hadn't been doing anything in a long time, noticed that Kuroninja was feeling a bit sad. Kuroninja asked Ayame if she wanted to spend some time with him, and Ayame agreed. Due to Kuroninja doing on a date with Ayame, Kuroninja Gold decided to take over in searching for Lord Nemesis. He found out that some of Lord Nemesis' soldiers were close to the docks, so he decided to head there.
Above Kuroninja's secret lab, the ninja students were practicing. Shinnosuke Nakamura wasn't there for some reason, but everyone else was. Suddenly, as they were practicing, Antonio Vega rushed into the dojo, holding the paralyzed body of Sayori.
"Guys!" Antonio Vega said, in a panic. "Look at what happened!"
"You made a statue of Sayori?" Satomi said. "That's a really good statue, I really like the very good detail...especially that arrow shot into her forehead! Is there a reason why it's there?"
Vega sighed.
"Wait a minute," he said, "where's Shinnosuke?"
"His brother's visiting, I think," one of the other ninja students said.
"Oh no," Antonio Vega said. "My girlfriend's been paralyzed...not just that, but...I know who did it, and she's back!"
"Who?" Satomi said.
"Oh, right..." Vega said to Satomi. "You weren't here when the dojo first started. Ok, let me tell you the story of what happened."
Antonio Vega was talking about Haruna Nakamura, one of Kuroninja's first students and a spy for the Nemesis Clan. Haruna was supposed to kill all of Kuroninja's students, but decided to let them live after falling in love with Antonio Vega. She then put Vega under an enchantment, which was broken after Antonio Vega confessed his love to Sayori, even though he still denies it ever happening. Haruna Nakamura then vowed to eliminate Sayori so she could have Vega all to herself.
Satomi wasn't really sure about helping Antonio Vega, but then remembered that Antonio Vega and his friends treated her to some soft-serve ice cream. Satomi decided to help Vega cure Sayori's paralysis. There was a flower in the Nature Dimension known as the Rose of Oesor. It could be made into a magic powder that could remove the state of paralysis from anyone. Antonio Vega had to go into the Nature Dimension to get it.
Yuri, Natsuki, Vega, and Satomi were ready to go to the Nature Dimension. Of course, Kai Hirose wasn't there.
"Hey, uh...before I go," Antonio Vega said, "does anyone want to go with me?"
"Nope," Natsuki said.
"Ok then," Antonio Vega said.
Antonio Vega walked to where Satomi was, so she could open a portal to the Nature Dimension. Before he could go there, though, someone called out to him.
"Wait!" Yuri said. "Let me go with you!"
"Ok," Antonio Vega said. Yuri joined him, and Satomi opened the portal. Antonio Vega and Yuri then walked inside the portal.
Meanwhile, in the Shadow Dimension, in the Shadōkyō Spire, Ikustan was cooking barbecue skewers. Lady Akinom then appeared, with Riyu.
"Finally, you're back!" Ikustan said. "You've been focusing on your new toy instead of us, the DDC! Your own organization!"
"Yeah!" Riyu said. "Me and Blade-san are getting impatient...we haven't fought anyone in a month!"
Riyu was referring to her switchblade, which had a blood-red gemstone at the end of its handle.
"Ok, fine," Lady Akinom said. "I'm busy with my greatest conquest, so...here's a portal to the Nature Dimension."
The Red-Eyed Sorcerer, Akinom, then opened a portal to the Nature Dimension. Riyu rushed into the dimension, ready to fight.
Meanwhile, Kuroninja and Ayame were heading out to watch a movie together, while Kuroninja Gold headed for the docks to intercept the Nemesis Clan.
Kuroninja Gold was almost at the docks, when suddenly, he got attacked by Lightninger. Lightninger appeared in front of Kuroninja Gold.
"Lightninger..." Kuroninja Gold said. "I've heard about you."
"You're not Kuroninja," Lightninger said.
"That's right," Kuroninja Gold said. "I'm Kuroninja Gold."
"That sword," Lightninger said, "It's too powerful for this world. I was going to let you go but now I must take that sword from you."
"The Sword of Absolute Power is mine," Kuroninja Gold said, as he picked it up and swung at Lightninger.
Suddenly, Lightninger blocked the Sword of Absolute Power by summoning a ray of light. He then fired a beam of white light at Kuroninja Gold, taking him down. Kuroninja Gold collapsed, as Lightninger picked the Sword of Absolute Power up. Somehow, the Sword of Absolute Power was no match for the power of light.
Meanwhile, Antonio Vega and Yuri were exploring the Nature Dimension. The Nature Dimension was filled with a lot of trees and grass, along with exotic and alien flowers. This dimension looked similar to Helheim from Kamen Rider Gaim, but Helheim and this dimension are completely different.
Anyway, Vega and Yuri found a bed of blue roses. These roses were the Rose of Oesor. Antonio Vega picked one of the flowers easily.
"It's very quiet," Yuri said. "Too quiet."
"Not everything is a trap, you know," Vega said. "Besides, this place is deserted, there's no one here! I don't think anyone's gonna attack us."
Unfortunately, someone was going to attack them. It was Riyu, who jumped out and started beating up Yuri.
"Nice to see you again, Darkprism Assassin!" Riyu said. "Me and Blade-san were very bored, but now that you're here, I finally have someone to destroy!"
Antonio Vega then punched Riyu in the face. Yuri then went over to Antonio Vega.
"I don't know who you are, or why you look like Yuri..." Antonio Vega said, "but I won't let you-"
"Stand back," Yuri said to Vega. "This one wants to fight me."
Yuri then transformed into the Darkprism Ranger. She charged at Riyu, dodging and blocking all of her attacks, before pulling out one of her knives. Yuri then tried to hit Riyu, but Riyu blocked the attack with her switchblade. Yuri then disarmed Riyu and destroyed the switchblade, shattering it into different pieces. The blood red gemstone fell off the handle, onto a bed of tall grass.
Riyu had suddenly become upset.
"Y-you killed Blade-san!" Riyu said angrily.
"You know," Yuri said, "I have thousands of knives that look more exquisite than your switchblade."
"I-it doesn't matter!" Riyu said. "Blade-san cannot be replaced...and now I will avenge him by ending you!"
Suddenly, some crimson mushrooms began to form from the grass. The mushrooms then grew and grew as Riyu became angry. They then formed into terrible humanoid beasts with spikes on their shoulders and back, long, sharp claws, 5 eyes on their faces, and extremely sharp fangs. These creatures were beings from the Nature Dimension that embodied the feeling of violence and bloodlust, unintentionally summoned by Riyu. These creatures were known as the Vargloths.
The Vargloths began attacking Yuri, due to Riyu being the one who summoned them. Antonio Vega knew he had to protect the Rose of Oesor, but although Yuri was very tough when fighting, she could only take so much. Antonio Vega kicked one of the Vargloths in the back. The Vargloth then picked Antonio Vega up and threw him at a tree. Antonio Vega then used a ninja technique to take the Vargloth down with a flaming punch, but then the Vargloth got up and became stronger.
"No!" Riyu said. "Only I will kill the Darkprism Assassin!" She then attacked the Vargloths, who then started going in her direction. Antonio Vega and Yuri then used this as an opportunity to escape. At the same time, A portal to the Shadow Dimension opened, allowing Riyu to escape the Vargloths.
Vega and Yuri had left the Nature Dimension, and returned back to Earth-1 with the Rose of Oesor.
"Wow, that was very quick," Natsuki said when they arrived.
"Quick?" Vega said, confused. "We spent a long time in there, searching for the Rose of Oesor and fighting. We were probably in there for about an hour!"
"Actually," Natsuki said, "you were only gone for 10 seconds."
Antonio Vega was a bit confused. What felt like hours in the Nature Dimension were actually mere seconds in the normal world. Yuri was very fascinated with the strangeness of how little time passed by.
However, before Vega could give the rose to Satomi so she could make the cure for Sayori's paralysis, a pink arrow was fired from one of the windows, hitting Yuri in the back.
Vega then went over to Yuri quickly, holding her in his arms.
"Yuri!" Vega said. "Are you ok?"
"I-I'm ok..." Yuri said, as she slowly became paralyzed. "Hey, uh...Vega, it was nice to spend time with you in the Nature Dimension..."
"Yeah, I guess it was," Vega said. "Don't worry, Yuri, We're almost there! I'm going to cure both Sayori's paralysis and your paralysis too!"
"Listen," Yuri said. "Before I become fully paralyzed, there's something I have to say to you...Antonio Vega, I.........."
Suddenly, the paralysis was fully complete. Yuri couldn't finish what she was about to say. Antonio Vega dropped Yuri and suddenly became upset.
"Haruna Nakamura...you may have paralyzed my girlfriend and one of my friends," Antonio Vega said, "but I will save them...and I will defeat you with my burning passion!"
Vega then felt a fire burning in his heart. He then saw a phoenix in front of him, which then charged into his body. Antonio Vega then felt his body temperature rising, as he collapsed.
"Vega, are you ok?" Satomi asked. That was the last thing Antonio Vega heard before he became unconscious.
