Lupinranger vs Patranger Episode 51 Review
Umika may be trapped in the safe, but it doesn't matter! No matter how far apart we are, we will still be together since 2018!
Hey guys, it is I, Kuroninja, and it's time to review the FINAL EPISODE OF LUPINRANGER VS PATORANGER! Lupinranger vs Patoranger has ended, and I saw most of the spoilers on Twitter, but even after looking at the spoilers, I still had no idea what was going on, so they never bothered me when I was watching this episode.
So for this episode, if the last episode was a finale for the Lupinrangers, this episode is focused mostly on the Patorangers, as they fight against Dogranio. Dogranio has the Lupinrangers trapped in his safe, so the Patorangers are trying to get him to open his safe. However, they have to get past the chains protecting it, though, which won't even move unless Dogranio tells them to. The chains are also unbreakable, even to attacks from the Siren Striker. Maybe Kuronindracon could destroy them, but there's a 1 in 10000000000000000000 chance that Kuronindracon would even be interested in doing that.
So anyway, Dogranio had the advantage most of the time. However, the only reason why he was able to cause more damage than Destra did in episode 41 was because he has all these Lupin Collection pieces. But did you remember that the Lupinrangers are inside of Dogranio's safe? They also brought the Lupin Collection book with them, too! And you know what that means...
Because of this, Dogranio suddenly became unable to use his power, allowing the Patorangers to gain the upper hand. However, they still couldn't open the safe. Patoren1 was then ordered to take down Dogranio, but he was struggling, because of how much he bonded with Lupin Red. I really like the narrative that they're going for, but it's a shame that the best character development has to be wasted on the red rangers. Can't we have a Sentai without a red ranger for once?
Fortunately, the Lupinrangers are still alive, because the Patorangers arrested Dogranio and put him in this giant cell, surrounded by cannons on every part of the walls. And then 1 year later, the Lupinrangers escaped the safe thanks to their loved ones and the Jackpot Striker. How did they find the Jackpot Striker? Well, we have yet to find out. Maybe I might end up screwing with the Super Sentai canon again, just like how I'm the one who trained Luna before she became Midoninger. Anti-Kuroninja also made a prediction about how I never celebrate Valentine's Day alone, and that is true, but Lupin Yellow is only one of my five girlfriends.
Now to rate this episode! Compared to the others, this episode delivered. It had a lot of action, the Patorangers got to use the powerups, and it was also very emotional. I know a lot of people liked this episode too, but just because I have different opinions from everyone else doesn't mean my opinions are different ALL the time. This episode will be given the rare rating of...
