Kuroninja X Chapter 27

Chapter 27: X Marks the Scorpio

A group of Pordermen led by a Gangler were trying to get away in a getaway van, but then they got stopped by a train that appeared out of nowhere. It was silver and gold. A guy in silver armour with an X on his face appeared and stole the Gangler’s Lupin Collection: a necklace with a scorpion talisman on it. It was LupinX. Suddenly, orange lasers began firing at both LupinX and the Ganglers. LupinX’s chestplate blocked all the lasers. The fog then cleared up, and LupinX found himself standing before Scorpio Hazard. Mark Scorpio was back. Scorpio Hazard punched LupinX so hard, not even the chestplate could absorb the damage. LupinX dropped the scorpion necklace.

The scorpion necklace, known as “Lentement,” was very dangerous. In the wrong hands, it could slow down time, with the user being unaffected. LupinX knew that he needed someone who had fought Mark Scorpio before. LupinX knew exactly who to find.

Meanwhile, Kuroninja had introduced Sayori to the team. Some members such as Kuroninja-10, Sakura, and Ayame welcomed Sayori to the Kuroninja household, but Yuri (the orange ranger of the Flowery Kunoichi Team, not the one with purple hair) and Ran didn’t like Sayori. Yuri was a little suspicious, and Ran felt that Kuroninja was replacing her as his apprentice. What didn’t help was that Sayori had the power of the Dragon.

Suddenly, Yuri noticed someone. She pulled out her ninja sword and pointed it at the front door. A guy in a silver jacket then appeared. Yuri attacked him, but he dodged the sword tracks using his Acrobatics. Kuroninja noticed something going on and realized that Yuri was attacking an intruder. But then he realized who this intruder was a told everyone to stop.

The intruder was Lupin X, also known as Noel Takao. Kuroninja and Noel didn’t really get along, because when LupinX first made his debut, Kuroninja noticed some similarities between himself and LupinX. Kuroninja asked Noel what he was doing here. Noel said that he needed help getting one item from the collection back. Kuroninja asked what that had to do with him, and that was when Noel said that the collection piece had been stolen by Mark Scorpio. Kuroninja then realized what was going on. He had experience with fighting Mark Scorpio, which is why Noel wanted to find Kuroninja. Kuroninja agreed, as long as they could take Kuroninja-10 with them. Kuroninja wanted to keep an eye on Noel, just in case this was a trick.

The three of them headed for the Cyberninja Tech Company, because Kuroninja knew that Mark Scorpio was partnered with Anti-Kuroninja. Suddenly, Ajnin Dihcro appeared, challenging Kuroninja-10 again. Kuroninja-10 accepted, and took down Ajnin Dihcro again easily. Ajnin Dihcro disappeared. “What was that about?” asked Kuroninja.

“I don’t know, and I don’t like it,” Kuroninja-10 said.

Kuroninja, Kuroninja-10, and LupinX entered the Cyberninja Tech Company office building. They hid from several guards and Cyberninjas patrolling the area, before reaching Mark Scorpio’s room. Mark Scorpio was talking to Anti-Kuroninja about something. Kuroninja-10 decided to use his Orchid Ninja powers to overhear what they were saying. Mark Scorpio was asking Anti-Kuroninja for a giant robot. Anti-Kuroninja said “ok.” He then gave Mark Scorpio a silver and bright red key. Mark Scorpio then left the room. The 3 decided to leave before they got caught by anyone.

The next day, Kuroninja decided to watch the news. He noticed that there was a giant robot attacking the city. Police were trying to attack it, even involving tanks and rocket launchers. But then, a large green forcefield appeared, and the robot started to move faster, dodging the rockets easily. Kuroninja realized what was going on. Mark Scorpio was using the Lentement necklace to slow down time so that the giant robot would destroy everything. Kuroninja had to stop Scorpio. Fortunately, PatorenX had made it to the scene. Because of how fast he was, the slowdown field didn’t affect him or X-Emperor.

Kuroninja knew he had to shut down the slowdown thing. Fortunately, Noel knew where the Lupin Collection piece was, somehow. Kuroninja rushed to the location, which was in an abandoned warehouse. Inside the warehouse was a machine with the necklace strapped to it, emitting a green ray that slowed down time where the robot was. Mark Scorpio was guarding the machine in his Scorpio Hazard form.

“Why the heck are you doing this, Mark Scorpio?” Kuroninja said.

“Well, you see,” Mark Scorpio said, “I was originally going to just collect this scorpion necklace. However, it contains the power to slow down time, and I want to spouse that to show everyone that they have been marked by the Scorpio!”

“I won’t let you do this, Scorpio!” Kuroninja said, as he pulled out his Kuroninjatō.

Kuroninja and Scorpio Hazard fought against each other. Scorpio Hazard was a little stronger than Kuroninja. Kuroninja knew he couldn’t beat Scorpio easily, so he conceded himself in a cloud of fog. Kuroninja then attacked Scorpio Hazard by surprise, and stunned him. Then he prepared his finisher.

“Kuroninja Final Strike!” Kuroninja said, as he slashed his sword. A wave of black light headed towards Scorpio Hazard.

Suddenly, someone broke into the building. Scorpio ended up using a Porderman as a shield. Kuroninja had no idea where they came from, but then saw a hole in the wall with some Pordermen. They were sent by the Gangler to get their Lupin Collection back. Scorpio Hazard then released some gas and escaped. Kuroninja now had to fight the Pordermen by himself. He took them out, and then shut the machine down by ripping the necklace out of the machine.

The time barrier was shut down, and PatorenX could now take down the giant Cyberninja robot. X-Emperor shot the giant robot down, and it exploded. PatorenX then left and told the cops that the city was safe again.

Later, Kuroninja and Noel returned to Kuroninja’s house. Kuroninja told Noel not to tell anyone about the house, and Noel asked Kuroninja why the Patorangers still don’t know who the Lupinrangers are yet. Kuroninja was relieved that Noel wouldn’t tell anyone where Kuroninja lived.
