Kuroninja X Episode 5

Episode 5: Return of the Neocyberninjas

In the universe of Earth-9, black Moraimarz were approaching the Corvus System, including Planet Cyber, as part of Dr. Anton’s experiment of dark Planesium. Another scientist who used to work for Jark Matter, known as Cyborg Karasu, was from the Corvus System. He created very powerful android ninjas known as Neocyberninjas. However, these Neocyberninjas were created using the soul of a deceased warrior. One of them was Cyber Kuroninja, whom Kuroninja had fought before.

Cyborg Karasu knew that Planet Cyber would be destroyed, but even though he was about to die, he wouldn’t let his Neocyberninjas be the last of his legacy. So he activated his Moraimarz, which stored a large amount of Neocyberninjas, and launched it into space. Unfortunately, the Moraimarz got sucked into a black hole.

However, the black hole, similar to how it led the Kyurangers to Earth-1, led the Neocyberninjas to Earth-1 as well. The Moraimarz landed somewhere, and it made a big scene. Just as Kuroninja-10 and Ran were taking down Yashin’iobi Trees, they saw the Moraimarz squash a lot of the trees with its big size and heavy weight. It then planted itself in the ground. Kuroninja also saw the Moraimarz from far away, and decided to take a look.

Kuroninja entered the Moraimarz and saw Neocyberninjas everywhere. Fortunately, it wasn’t activated, so it wouldn’t take any of Earth-1’s Planesium. But Kuroninja didn’t know why these Neocyberninjas were there. He then found a video recording, and watched it. Cyborg Karasu appeared on the screen. The recording said:

“Greetings. If you are watching this recording, it means that I have died for some reason. However, I didn’t want to let my projects go to waste because I’m a better scientist than that Dr Anton guy. Wait a minute, I thought Jark Matter sent an assassin to kill him! How is he still alive? Anyway, these Neocyberninjas are really powerful, especially the very first one: Neocyberninja Black. It’s in a capsule somewhere.”

Kuroninja paused the recording, and opened a capsule he found in front of him. Inside was a Neocyberninja, except instead of the usual bright silver colour, this Neocyberninja was black and purple. Kuroninja opened the capsule to see what Neocyberninja Black was like, but then Kuroninja-10 called Kuroninja over, as they were busy fighting another monster.

Kuroninja, Kuroninja-10, and Ran were facing a mushroom monster that had just appeared from the sewers. When the Moraimarz destroyed the Yashin’iobi Trees nearby, the fruits’ juice somehow spilled into the sewers, and some fungi absorbed the liquid, mutating it into a mushroom monster. Kuroninja got out his sword and directed it next to the Moraimarz. Then, he got out his sword and destroyed the mushroom monster easily. “That was easy,” Kuroninja-10 said.

“Too easy...” Kuroninja replied, knowing he forgot about something, but didn’t know what it was.

Meanwhile, in the Bioninja Organic Organization’s underwater Earth-1 base, Cronin noticed Neocyberninja Black and knew it was very powerful. Accompanying Cronin was a sentient deadly nightshade plant that seemed to be Cronin’s pet. Cronin then ordered his Snakemen to retrieve Neocyberninja Black and bring it to the base.

The next day, Kuroninja woke up early, so he decided to watch the news. On the news, the Neocyberninjas from the Moraimarz were destroying everything. Kuroninja took a closer look at the news footage, and saw white blobs attached to the back of some Neocyberninjas. Kuroninja then woke up Kuroninja-10, and asked him if he had faced mushroom monsters before. Kuroninja-10 told him that they were so easy to defeat, but that’s because when a mushroom monster explodes, they release their spores into the air. Whatever the spores land on can get controlled by them. Kuroninja and Kuroninja-10 then rushed into the area to try and defeat the Neocyberninjas, including Neocyberninja Black. However, Kuroninja remembered what Cyborg Karasu said, so he needed to find a way to shut down the Neocyberninjas without destroying them. Kuroninja then remembered something, and went to one of the nearby Cyberninja Tech Company buildings.

Inside, Kuroninja got out the Kage Shuriken and used it so that the other workers would think that he was Anti-Kuroninja, who allied with the Cyberninja Tech Company to get weapons and resources for his evil plans. Kuroninja then asked the manager of the building if there were any weapons that could shut down a machine. The manager said yes to “Anti-Kuroninja”, and gave him a lot of Cyber Shurikens. These ones had the ability to paralyze targets. Kuroninja said thanks, and left. The manager thought that it was strange, because normally, Anti-Kuroninja never thanked anyone.

Kuroninja-10 was busy defending the rest of the city from the Neocyberninjas, by leading them to attack him. However, he was being overpowered. The Neocyberninjas cornered him, until Kuroninja threw one of the paralysis shurikens at the Neocyberninjas. The Neocyberninjas collapsed, but there was one more. Kuroninja-10 decided to stay behind to remove the evil mind-controlling fungi on the Neocyberninjas.

Kuroninja confronted Neocyberninja Black, who got out a purple-bladed, glowing ninja sword. Neocyberninja Black was very agile and fast, but Kuroninja was able to dodge all the attacks and keep up with Neocyberninja Black. He threw the paralysis Cyber Shurikens at Neocyberninja Black, who just sliced them into pieces. Kuroninja only had one shuriken left, so he needed to make it.

Suddenly, Kuroninja’s hands started glowing again, and then time began to slow down. Kuroninja threw the shuriken so fast, and it successfully shut Neocyberninja Black down. Kuroninja still didn’t know what this power was. Now that Neocyberninja Black was down, all that Kuroninja needed to do was remove the fungus and free the Neocyberninja from its control. Kuroninja was successfully able to do that, but then a Snakeman knocked him out from behind. The Snakemen then picked up Neocyberninja Black and left. Kuroninja woke up and noticed that the Neocyberninjas were gone. Kuroninja-10 decided to bury them underground, so that no one would find them.

While Kuroninja and Kuroninja-10 were walking back to Kuroninja’s house, Kuroninja-10 asked Kuroninja how far he was on his search for the rest of the Flowery Kunoichi Team. Kuroninja said that he was able to find Yuri, but he still needed to find the rest of the Flowery Kunoichi Team (except Suiren).

That was when a big portal appeared in the sky. Anti-Kuroninja dropped from the portal in front of Kuroninja. Anti-Kuroninja said to Kuroninja “I have something to tell you! I know where Ayame and Sakura are!”

Kuroninja was shocked. “Where are they?” he asked.

Anti-Kuroninja said “I think they’re at a place called “Darkprism.”
