Kuroninja Gold Episode 22
Episode 22: Bound to Earth
Shinnosuke Nakamura had been gone from the Kuroninja Dojo for a really long time, ever since his older brother, Hikari Nakamura, showed up. Now, he was back. Antonio Vega went over to where Shinnosuke was.
"Shinnosuke!" Antonio Vega said. "Welcome back!"
"Thanks, Antonio," Shinnosuke said.
"Where were you?" Antonio Vega asked Shinnosuke.
"Well, it's a long story..." Shinnosuke said.
Shinnosuke Nakamura had found out that his older brother, Hikari Nakamura, had returned to visit for a while. After graduating from university, Hikari joined the Special Team of Research/Military, also known as SToR/M. He also had a new piece of equipment to help with his research: the Lightninger Armour, developed to equal Kuroninja's power. Shinnosuke learned that Hikari had arrived because Kuroninja was creating chaos. There had been more openings from the Shadow Dimension and the Nature Dimension. Hikari also offered to train Shinnosuke instead of the Kuroninja Dojo. Shinnosuke refused to accept, but Hikari trained him anyway. This explains why he was gone for a few weeks.
During the training sessions, Shinnosuke saw some pieces of soil form into the shape of a turtle. He followed the turtle and fell into a hole. Shinnosuke then woke up in a giant cave, surrounded by a lot of gemstones and rocks. Humanoid creatures made out of rocks and stone were walking all over the place. Shinnosuke then saw the turtle-like creature, which was actually the legendary Asuineta (pronounced "Earthinator"), the guardian of the Earth Dimension. The last thing Shinnosuke remembered from his visit there was touching a yellow octahedron-shaped gemstone before waking up in his own bedroom.
As everyone was welcoming Shinnosuke Nakamura back, Kuroninja was in his lab, training to find out more about Iroyas.
"Are you ok?" Kuroninja asked. "You've been kept in this lab for weeks."
"I'm fine," Iroyas said. "I know that you'll let me out eventually."
"I know, but..." Kuroninja said, "I still need more information, and who the very first void ninja is."
"I don't remember what she looks like," Iroyas said. "My mind is very blurry from spending a lot of time in that switchblade."
"Ok," Kuroninja said, "but...what about the DDC?"
"Well..." Iroyas said...
Suddenly, before she could say anything, a portal opened. Kuroninja Gold walked out of the portal, without any weapons.
"Kuroninja Gold, you're back!" Kuroninja said.
"Of course I'm back," Kuroninja Gold said. "This season is named after me."
"Why were you gone in the first place?" Kuroninja asked.
"Well," Kuroninja Gold said, "I decided to take an exile for losing the Sword of Absolute Power."
Kuroninja was shocked.
"YOU LOST THE SWORD OF ABSOLUTE POWER?" Kuroninja said, worriedly. "Do you know what this means? What if Lord Nemesis found it? We've got to get it back!"
"Don't worry," Kuroninja Gold said. "I've got some good news and some bad news. Good news is that I put a tracking device on the Sword of Absolute Power. Apparently it's close to the town of Aya, in the Miyazaki Prefecture."
"And the bad news?" Kuroninja said.
"The one who stole the sword is Hikari Nakamura," Kuroninja Gold said. "Which means that we have to infiltrate a SToR/M facility."
Kuroninja had no idea how to get in. Suddenly, he had an idea. SToR/M hired powerful warriors to join their military organization. These warriors included samurai. Kuroninja then picked up his phone.
"Hello?" the person on the other end asked. She was a samurai, which is why Kuroninja called her.
"I need your help with something," Kuroninja said.
"Are you sure I'm the right person?" she asked. "I'm pretty sure there are better choices than me."
"Please," Kuroninja said. "You're the only one I've got."
"Ok, I'll help you," she said. "See you later, Kuroninja."
"Who was that?" Kuroninja Gold said.
"My fifth girlfriend," Kuroninja said. "Her name is Kotoha Hanaori, and she's the yellow ranger of a team known as Samurai Sentai Shinkenger."
Meanwhile, Anti-Kuroninja was feeling a little bored. He hadn't done anything since episode 15 of this season, so he was bored. Anti-Kuroninja was busy organizing his Shironinger shrine, when suddenly, a portal opened. Haruna Nakamura walked out of the portal.
"Hey," Anti-Kuroninja said. "Aren't you one of Kuroninja's students?"
"I'm actually a spy for the Nemesis Clan," Haruna Nakamura said.
"You're working for that guy who's trying to steal my spot as Kuroninja's archenemy!" Anti-Kuroninja said, as he picked up his sword.
"Wait!" Haruna said. "I'm here to make you more powerful, so that Kuroninja will recognize you again."
"Really?" Anti-Kuroninja said.
"Yes," Haruna said. "All I need from you are 2 things: a picture of Antonio Vega, and the Sword of Absolute Power."
"I'll get you 2 of those things," Anti-Kuroninja said. Haruna then left.
Anti-Kuroninja then gathered his Cyberninjas, one of them holding an instant camera.
"Cyberninjas..." Anti-Kuroninja said. "Some of you, come with me. We're going to find the Sword of Absolute Power. As for you..." he continued, pointing to the Cyberninja with a camera, "go to the Kuroninja Dojo and bring me pictures of Antonio Vega! Do whatever is necessary, be as persuasive as possible!"
"Cyberninja Ready," the Cyberninjas said, as they left. Anti-Kuroninja then went onto his helicopter, flying toward the town of Aya, in the Miyazaki prefecture.
Kuroninja, Kuroninja Gold, and Kotoha had traveled all the way to the Miyazaki prefecture, and they had found the SToR/M outpost where the Sword of Absolute Power was. It was a large cave, guarded by soldiers in white and gold uniforms, some holding katanas, and some holding assault rifles. One of the guards noticed Kuroninja and the two others.
"You there!" the guard said, moving closer, his weapon drawn. "What are you doing here?"
"My friend here wants to join SToR/M," Kuroninja said. "We heard you've been scouting the place for samurai.
"Ok," the guard said, looking at Kotoha. "Prove yourself to SToR/M."
Kotoha transformed into Shinken Yellow and pulled out her weapon, the Land Slicer, which looked like a giant 3-bladed shuriken. She threw it at the forest, cutting most of the trees. The Land Slicer then flew back to her.
"Impressive," the guard said. "Follow me, I'll take you to the recruitment office."
Shinken Yellow and the SToR/M guard entered the room, while Kuroninja and Kuroninja Gold left to find a separate way in.
Antonio Vega, meanwhile, was with Shinnosuke Nakamura, and the two of them were training. Sayori was watching the two train, and she sighed. Sayori felt like she wasn't doing anything, especially since she was Antonio Vega's girlfriend. However, she did feel a cold presence nearby. Something she had felt before. It disappeared after a while.
At the same time, Kuroninja and Kuroninja Gold found an entrance to the SToR/M facility. However, they needed to wait until Shinken Yellow gave them the map of the entire place. Shinken Yellow was being escorted by the guards to the recruitment office, and she saw a map of the entire facility. Shinken Yellow scanned the map when no one was looking. She then sent it to Kuroninja. Now, Kuroninja knew where the Sword of Absolute Power was located. It was in a room known as "The Vault Room."
Kuroninja and Kuroninja Gold then went inside the SToR/M outpost through the back. They went past several lasers and guards, which wasn't easy. Although it wasn't easy now, things were about to get worse.
Hikari Nakamura was ready to meet the new recruit for SToR/M. However, while he was introducing himself to Kotoha, a guard had detected some armoured helicopters flying toward the base. They were carrying Cyberninjas, which were jumping off the helicopters and into the outpost. Hikari then told Kotoha that now was the chance to prove herself by taking down the Cyberninjas.
Kuroninja and Kuroninja Gold also heard the alarms. Since all the guards were running to the entrance, it meant that they could go to the Vault Room. However, they needed a keycard, so Kuroninja stealthily took out one of the guards and got his keycard. Kuroninja used the keycard to access the Vault Room, while Kuroninja Gold decided to take a look around to find out what was causing the alarm. He then saw some Cyberninjas, along with Anti-Kuroninja.
Cyberninjas were also invading the Kuroninja Dojo, led by a Cyberninja with an instant camera. The Cyberninjas began attacking students, destroying walls, and setting things on fire. Antonio Vega decided to find out what was going on. He then ran into the Cyberninjas.
"What's going on?" Antonio Vega said.
"There you are, Antonio Vega," the Cyberninja photographer said. "We're here to take pictures of you for Anti-Kuroninja."
"Wait..." Antonio Vega said. "You raided the dojo, destroyed stuff, and attacked random students here...just to take my picture?"
"Affirmative," the Cyberninja said.
"You should've asked nicely," Vega said, "but since you ruined the scenery, you're going to have to fight me!"
Antonio Vega then attacked the Cyberninjas. However, there was too many of them, so they captured Antonio Vega. Vega then activated his Ultimate Power of Fire, before being captured in a fireproof cage. Shinnosuke Nakamura also tried to get involved, but then he got caught by the Cyberninjas too.
Anti-Kuroninja and Kuroninja Gold were facing each other.
"Anti-Kuroninja?" Kuroninja Gold said.
"Yes," Anti-Kuroninja said. "I sent an army of Cyberninjas to attack the SToR/M headquarters. All the guards are facing them now!"
"Well guess what?" Kuroninja Gold said. "We're already going after the Sword of Absolute Power. Kuroninja already knows where it is, and he's probably found it by now!"
"Yeah," Anti-Kuroninja said, "but I'm after the Sword of Absolute Power too, and I knew you would show up here, so I prepared something."
"What?" Kuroninja Gold asked.
"This," Anti-Kuroninja said, as he walked away. Kuroninja Gold was about to follow him, but then some Cyberninjas jumped on him, making him unable to move. They then captured Kuroninja Gold.
Kuroninja was in the Vault Room, and he had found the Sword of Absolute Power. He picked it up, but then security drones started to fly out of the air vents in the walls. Kuroninja then realized that he had to fight off the security drones. He picked up the Sword of Absolute Power, and then destroyed all the drones, before jumping up, leaving a hole in the ceiling, and arriving outside the outpost from that same hole. Kuroninja then saw Anti-Kuroninja, whose Cyberninjas had taken out most of the guards.
"Anti-Kuroninja!?" Kuroninja said. "You're the one who got all the guards here?"
"Yes," Anti-Kuroninja said. "Now give me the Sword of Absolute Power!"
"No way," Kuroninja said. He then picked up the sword and was about to swing it, but then...
"Oh yeah?" Anti-Kuroninja said. "Look who I found!"
He then directed Kuroninja's attention to a captured Kuroninja Gold and Kotoha Hanaori.
"Give me the Sword of Absolute Power and I'll let Kuroninja Gold and your 5th girlfriend go," Anti-Kuroninja said.
"Don't listen to him," Kotoha said. "You can fight him without me!"
"Wait!" Kuroninja said. "I'm not going to let you hurt my 5th girlfriend! Not after I just revealed that she was my 5th girlfriend!"
"Excellent choice," Anti-Kuroninja said. "Now give me the Sword of Absolute Power!"
Kuroninja then gave Anti-Kuroninja the Sword of Absolute Power. Anti-Kuroninja then felt a surge of power in his hands.
"You know," Anti-Kuroninja said, "I was originally hired to get this for someone, but now that I feel its power, I'm going to use it for myself...and you will soon recognize me as your archenemy!"
Anti-Kuroninja was about to slice through Kuroninja with the sword, but then someone blocked the attack. It was Hikari Nakamura, in his Lightninger armour.
"Lightninger?" Kuroninja said.
"I'm not doing this for you," Lightninger said. "I'm only doing this for SToR/M."
Lightninger somehow used beams of light to negate the Sword of Absolute Power's attack. He then charged at Anti-Kuroninja, who dropped the greatsword and went to fight Lightninger.
Meanwhile, the Cyberninjas had captured Antonio Vega and Shinnosuke Nakamura.
"You know, Shinnosuke," Antonio Vega said, "you didn't have to try and help me. I could defeat the Cyberninjas on my own."
"Yeah," Shinnosuke said, "but you've got to have someone watching your back. That's why I showed up. Besides, that cage is fireproof, so obviously you won't be able to break out."
"Y'know," Antonio Vega said, "you can be a little hard-headed sometimes."
"You're too emotional for a fighter," Shinnosuke said. "Let someone else handle things for a change."
Suddenly, Shinnosuke Nakamura's eyes glowed yellow. The ground then started to shake, causing the Cyberninja holding Nakamura to lose his grip. Shinnosuke Nakamura now had the Ultimate Power of Earth on his side.
Shinnosuke Nakamura used the Ultimate Power of Earth to create walls and block the attacks from all the Cyberninjas. He then created a sinkhole for Vega to escape the fireproof cage, and then brought him back to the surface by moving the dirt around. The Cyberninja with the camera was the last Cyberninja left, so Shinnosuke Nakamura finished him off by lifting up a large cluster of dirt and rocks, and then dropping it on the Cyberninja, crushing it. Shinnosuke Nakamura and Antonio Vega then high-fived each other.
At the same time, Lightninger was fighting Anti-Kuroninja, as Kuroninja was rescuing Kuroninja Gold and Shinken Yellow. Kuroninja Gold picked up the Sword of Absolute Power, and used it to fight against the incoming Cyberninjas. However, Kuroninja and Shinken Yellow weren't going to be outdone, so they took down the Cyberninjas with synchronized attacks. Lightninger also used his finisher on Anti-Kuroninja, taking him down. Anti-Kuroninja then got picked up by a helicopter and retreated.
"Thanks for saving us, Lightninger," Kuroninja said.
"Don't take this the wrong way," Lightninger said. "Fighting Anti-Kuroninja was a higher priority than fighting you. Next time we meet, you're going down."
Lightninger then left. Kuroninja and his team also decided that it was a good idea to leave the SToR/M outpost too.
Kuroninja then returned, along with Kuroninja Gold. He had some unfinished business with Iroyas.
"Alright, Iroyas," Kuroninja said. "So what can you tell us about the DDC?"
Iroyas then began to explain.
The DDC, also known as the Dark Domain Council, was created by Lady Akinom, who used it to conquer the Shadow Dimension. It had 4 founding members; the 3 others were Ikustan, Riyu, and Iroyas. At first, everything was fine, until several rifts from the Dark Dimension, an otherworldly place outside the Multiverse, started to appear. The Dark Dimension's atmosphere began to breach into the Shadow Dimension, creating different effects, such as making Akinom more aware of other dimensions, but also powerless at the same time, transforming Iroyas' personality to a more optimistic one that contradicted the Shadow Dimension's depressing atmosphere, giving Ikustan the ability to create infinite barbecue skewers out of nowhere, and also driving Riyu to madness. Riyu then killed Iroyas, Ikustan barely escaped to the Empty Fields, and Akinom faked her death and hid somewhere in a place known as the Gravelands. She met Necromega and made him the leader of the DDC while Akinom would work on a project known as "The Great Salvation." Iroyas and the others had no idea what "The Great Salvation" was, but she had overheard Akinom mentioning how she required a "Perfect Conqueror."
"A perfect conqueror?" Kuroninja said. "What do you suppose that could mean?"
"Well," Iroyas said, "Due to the effects of the Dark Dimension, Lady Akinom is extremely weak outside the Shadow Dimension, so I think that this "Perfect Conqueror" is going to do all the work for her."
"Ok," Kuroninja said. "I think that's all I need from you, so you're free to go."
Iroyas walked toward the exit, but then stopped.
"Oh, Kuroninja," Iroyas said, "I forgot to mention this. Akinom writes these novels recording the history of the DDC, and on one of them it mentioned something about the "Perfect Conqueror" being some kind of "knight in black with the face of a red star." I don't know if that's important, but...just wanted to let you know." Iroyas then left.
"A knight in black with the face of a red star..." Kuroninja thought. "That sounds familiar...but I don't know who that is."

"Well guess what?" Kuroninja Gold said. "We're already going after the Sword of Absolute Power. Kuroninja already knows where it is, and he's probably found it by now!"
"Yeah," Anti-Kuroninja said, "but I'm after the Sword of Absolute Power too, and I knew you would show up here, so I prepared something."
"What?" Kuroninja Gold asked.
"This," Anti-Kuroninja said, as he walked away. Kuroninja Gold was about to follow him, but then some Cyberninjas jumped on him, making him unable to move. They then captured Kuroninja Gold.
Kuroninja was in the Vault Room, and he had found the Sword of Absolute Power. He picked it up, but then security drones started to fly out of the air vents in the walls. Kuroninja then realized that he had to fight off the security drones. He picked up the Sword of Absolute Power, and then destroyed all the drones, before jumping up, leaving a hole in the ceiling, and arriving outside the outpost from that same hole. Kuroninja then saw Anti-Kuroninja, whose Cyberninjas had taken out most of the guards.
"Anti-Kuroninja!?" Kuroninja said. "You're the one who got all the guards here?"
"Yes," Anti-Kuroninja said. "Now give me the Sword of Absolute Power!"
"No way," Kuroninja said. He then picked up the sword and was about to swing it, but then...
"Oh yeah?" Anti-Kuroninja said. "Look who I found!"
He then directed Kuroninja's attention to a captured Kuroninja Gold and Kotoha Hanaori.
"Give me the Sword of Absolute Power and I'll let Kuroninja Gold and your 5th girlfriend go," Anti-Kuroninja said.
"Don't listen to him," Kotoha said. "You can fight him without me!"
"Wait!" Kuroninja said. "I'm not going to let you hurt my 5th girlfriend! Not after I just revealed that she was my 5th girlfriend!"
"Excellent choice," Anti-Kuroninja said. "Now give me the Sword of Absolute Power!"
Kuroninja then gave Anti-Kuroninja the Sword of Absolute Power. Anti-Kuroninja then felt a surge of power in his hands.
"You know," Anti-Kuroninja said, "I was originally hired to get this for someone, but now that I feel its power, I'm going to use it for myself...and you will soon recognize me as your archenemy!"
Anti-Kuroninja was about to slice through Kuroninja with the sword, but then someone blocked the attack. It was Hikari Nakamura, in his Lightninger armour.
"Lightninger?" Kuroninja said.
"I'm not doing this for you," Lightninger said. "I'm only doing this for SToR/M."
Lightninger somehow used beams of light to negate the Sword of Absolute Power's attack. He then charged at Anti-Kuroninja, who dropped the greatsword and went to fight Lightninger.
Meanwhile, the Cyberninjas had captured Antonio Vega and Shinnosuke Nakamura.
"You know, Shinnosuke," Antonio Vega said, "you didn't have to try and help me. I could defeat the Cyberninjas on my own."
"Yeah," Shinnosuke said, "but you've got to have someone watching your back. That's why I showed up. Besides, that cage is fireproof, so obviously you won't be able to break out."
"Y'know," Antonio Vega said, "you can be a little hard-headed sometimes."
"You're too emotional for a fighter," Shinnosuke said. "Let someone else handle things for a change."
Suddenly, Shinnosuke Nakamura's eyes glowed yellow. The ground then started to shake, causing the Cyberninja holding Nakamura to lose his grip. Shinnosuke Nakamura now had the Ultimate Power of Earth on his side.
Shinnosuke Nakamura used the Ultimate Power of Earth to create walls and block the attacks from all the Cyberninjas. He then created a sinkhole for Vega to escape the fireproof cage, and then brought him back to the surface by moving the dirt around. The Cyberninja with the camera was the last Cyberninja left, so Shinnosuke Nakamura finished him off by lifting up a large cluster of dirt and rocks, and then dropping it on the Cyberninja, crushing it. Shinnosuke Nakamura and Antonio Vega then high-fived each other.
At the same time, Lightninger was fighting Anti-Kuroninja, as Kuroninja was rescuing Kuroninja Gold and Shinken Yellow. Kuroninja Gold picked up the Sword of Absolute Power, and used it to fight against the incoming Cyberninjas. However, Kuroninja and Shinken Yellow weren't going to be outdone, so they took down the Cyberninjas with synchronized attacks. Lightninger also used his finisher on Anti-Kuroninja, taking him down. Anti-Kuroninja then got picked up by a helicopter and retreated.
"Thanks for saving us, Lightninger," Kuroninja said.
"Don't take this the wrong way," Lightninger said. "Fighting Anti-Kuroninja was a higher priority than fighting you. Next time we meet, you're going down."
Lightninger then left. Kuroninja and his team also decided that it was a good idea to leave the SToR/M outpost too.
Kuroninja then returned, along with Kuroninja Gold. He had some unfinished business with Iroyas.
"Alright, Iroyas," Kuroninja said. "So what can you tell us about the DDC?"
Iroyas then began to explain.
The DDC, also known as the Dark Domain Council, was created by Lady Akinom, who used it to conquer the Shadow Dimension. It had 4 founding members; the 3 others were Ikustan, Riyu, and Iroyas. At first, everything was fine, until several rifts from the Dark Dimension, an otherworldly place outside the Multiverse, started to appear. The Dark Dimension's atmosphere began to breach into the Shadow Dimension, creating different effects, such as making Akinom more aware of other dimensions, but also powerless at the same time, transforming Iroyas' personality to a more optimistic one that contradicted the Shadow Dimension's depressing atmosphere, giving Ikustan the ability to create infinite barbecue skewers out of nowhere, and also driving Riyu to madness. Riyu then killed Iroyas, Ikustan barely escaped to the Empty Fields, and Akinom faked her death and hid somewhere in a place known as the Gravelands. She met Necromega and made him the leader of the DDC while Akinom would work on a project known as "The Great Salvation." Iroyas and the others had no idea what "The Great Salvation" was, but she had overheard Akinom mentioning how she required a "Perfect Conqueror."
"A perfect conqueror?" Kuroninja said. "What do you suppose that could mean?"
"Well," Iroyas said, "Due to the effects of the Dark Dimension, Lady Akinom is extremely weak outside the Shadow Dimension, so I think that this "Perfect Conqueror" is going to do all the work for her."
"Ok," Kuroninja said. "I think that's all I need from you, so you're free to go."
Iroyas walked toward the exit, but then stopped.
"Oh, Kuroninja," Iroyas said, "I forgot to mention this. Akinom writes these novels recording the history of the DDC, and on one of them it mentioned something about the "Perfect Conqueror" being some kind of "knight in black with the face of a red star." I don't know if that's important, but...just wanted to let you know." Iroyas then left.
"A knight in black with the face of a red star..." Kuroninja thought. "That sounds familiar...but I don't know who that is."
