Kuroninja Gold Episode 16
Episode 16: Dead End
After the Christmas and New Years season was over, it was time for Kuroninja to open his dojo. Kuroninja was about to put up a sign, until he noticed something strange about the weather. The sky was grey, when normally, there wasn't supposed to be that many clouds at this time. These clouds were all dark, and soon, fog began to appear.
That was when dark holes began to form all over the city. They could be seen everywhere. Many people were scared when the holes appeared, but some, like Yuri, just quietly observed what was happening.
Suddenly, black smoke started coming from the holes. Some of the smoke formed into animated bones, or skeletons, while other particles of smoke formed into humanoid spectres of evil. The spectres and skeletons began attacking everyone. Kuroninja had no idea where they were all coming from, but he knew he had to stop them. Kuroninja got out his ninja sword and prepared to take down the undead hordes.
Meanwhile, in the park, a larger portal opened. Out from the portal came the Ice Ninja of Despair, Iroyas, along with Necromega. Necromega had bypassed the barrier that prevented him from leaving the Shadow Dimension, thanks to the wormhole generator, and now he was back to take over the Multiverse with his undead army.
In the Clockwork Dimension, the Interdimensional Guardians had noticed Necromega having escaped the Shadow Dimension. Agemo was scared, since Necromega was his brother. Agemo knew what Necromega was trying to do. Necromega was going to build up an undead army strong enough that not even the Interdimensional Guardians could stop it. Horologius, the leader of the Interdimension Guardians, knew that the Interdimensional Guardians couldn't intervene in the Inner Multiverse, so he had an idea. Horologius had influenced a group known as the Secret Team of Researchers/Militants, also known as SToR/M.
The SToR/M headquarters was in a mountain somewhere. Their job was to contain the most dangerous and chaotic of anomalies, only for the purpose of keeping everything in order. They didn't care about good or evil. Only order. The leader, Hikari Nakamura, had recently began monitoring Kuroninja. Perhaps it was because of Akuroninja's invasions, along with the sudden increase in visits to and from the Shadow Dimension.
Hikari Nakamura noticed that undeads were everywhere in the city. He realized that it was time to take action. The research team of SToR/M had created some special gear for Hikari, based on their research on Kuroninja. The difference was that this gear used light-based powers instead of shadow. Hikari took the new gear and left for the city.
Somewhere else near the city, Antonio Vega was exploring the forest, when he noticed Kai Hirose nearby, going toward the lake. Antonio Vega had no idea what Hirose was doing there, so he went to take a closer look. Suddenly, he saw fish zombies and skeletons rise up form the ocean, headed straight for Hirose. There were too many of them for Hirose to fight back, so Vega decided to break his cover. Vega created a fireball and threw it at the fish zombies, destroying them.
"What are you doing here?" Hirose said, shocked at Vega's presence.
"It doesn't matter," Vega said, "just follow me!"
Antonio Vega and Hirose then left the forest, only to find the city crowded with undead. There was a large beam of white light coming from the park, so both of them decided to find out what it was.
Meanwhile, Yuri noticed the undead everywhere. The presence of undead fascinated Yuri, as it wasn't normal for the dead to come back to life. Yuri decided to take a closer look at the undead, but before she could get closer to the undead swarms, a shadow portal opened in front of her. Out of the portal came someone who looked very similar to Yuri, except with black hair. It was Riyu, one of the most dangerous inhabitants of the Shadow Dimension and the Shadow counterpart of Yuri. In Riyu's hand was a switchblade with a blood red gemstone on the handle.
"Well, well, well," Riyu said. "If it isn't the Darkprism Assassin. I have waited a long time to fight you one on one!"
"Sorry..." Yuri said, "but I don't really like fighting."
"That's too bad," Riyu said, as she activated her switchblade. Riyu then viciously stabbed Yuri so many times. Yuri had no chance to fight back.
"Hmmm..." Riyu said. "Ikustan lied, the Darkprism Assassin isn't as powerful as I thought."
Riyu was about to open a portal to return to the Shadow Dimension, but then Yuri got up as if the several cuts on her arms and legs from the switchblade attack was nothing. Yuri then transformed into the Darkprism Ranger and was ready to fight Riyu.
Riyu then charged back at the Darkprism Ranger, but this time, the Darkprism Ranger was prepared. She got out two knives and threw them at Riyu. Riyu got out the knives and threw them away, but the Darkprism Ranger wasn't done. She got out another knife and stabbed Riyu. Unlike Yuri, Riyu couldn't take that much damage, but Riyu still wanted to fight. She then collapsed on the ground. Another shadow portal opened, and out came a red chain, which grabbed Riyu and pulled her back into the Shadow Dimension. Yuri then untransformed.
Kuroninja was now in the park, having taken down so many undead. That was when he got attacked by a chain dart from Iroyas. Iroyas then revealed herself, along with Necromega. Necromega revealed that he was planning on turning everyone on Earth-1 into undead soldiers, and that Kuroninja would look good as a member of his undead army. Necromega was about to kill Kuroninja with a death ray from his hands, but then Kuroninja broke through the chain dart, destroying it. Kuroninja then knocked out Iroyas and went for Necromega.
Antonio Vega and Kai Hirose were watching nearby, when they saw Kuroninja fighting Necromega. Kuroninja was about to prepare his finisher to defeat Necromega once and for all. He charged up his sword, which glowed with black light. Kuroninja then charged at Necromega and slashed through. Necromega then collapsed, but then got back up again. He revealed that he couldn't die, because he was undead. Only special elements could destroy Necromega.
That was when the sound of a motorcycle could be heard. Someone wearing dark yellow military gear appeared. He was also holding what looked like Kuroninja's sword, only with brighter colours and a golden blade. It was Hikari Nakamura.
Hikari Nakamura told Kuroninja to stand back, and then revealed a royal yellow shuriken. Hikari placed the shuriken on the sword.
"Raitoninja Henge!" Hikari said, as he spun the shuriken.
Hikari Nakamura then transformed into what looked like Kuroninja, only with goldenrod coloured armour instead of black. This was Lightninger, also known as the Inverted Kuroninja.
Lightninger got out his sword and destroyed all the undead Necromega sent at him. He then went for Necromega, damaging him easily. Lightninger then activated his finisher. He rose up into the air, and suddenly, some of the clouds cleared, with a light shining down on Necromega. Lightninger then descended rapidly, with his sword drawn. Lightninger then slashed Necromega, destroying him.
After Necromega got destroyed, all the undead summoned by Necromega began to disintegrate, including Iroyas. The sky then began to clear up and the holes disappeared. Antonio Vega and Hirose decided to leave.
Kuroninja then asked Hikari Nakamura who he was. Hikari said that he was going to be keeping a close eye on Kuroninja from now on.
The next day, Kuroninja decided to open his dojo.
