Kuroninja Gold Episode 12
Episode 12: Cold-Hearted
Kuroninja had just learned about a spy in his dojo, who was serving the Nemesis Clan. Necromega had learned about this, so he informed Lord Nemesis that Kuroninja and his students would eventually learn who the spy was. Lord Nemesis then realized what he had to do. It was finally time to use the Shadow Core. Iroyas then went to Earth-1 as part of a really weird plan. The idea was for Iroyas to place the city into a deep freeze, until Kuroninja surrendered the Sword of Absolute Power over to her.
Bronzar then went to check on the prisoner, Yajin Niroku. He then opened the cage. Yajin Niroku was upset after being captured. He was forced to wear a metal collar that prevented him from opening Shadow Portals, and if Yajin Niroku tried to act on his own, Bronzar would press a button on his remote, and Yajin Niroku would feel a non-lethal, but painful, electric shock. Bronzar and Yajin Niroku were going to Earth-1 to assist Iroyas.
Meanwhile, Kuroninja had gathered all the students for an assembly. He revealed that one of the ninja students in the dojo was a spy working for Lord Nemesis. Everyone gasped.
As soon as Kuroninja left, everyone began talking amongst themselves. They had no idea who the spy was. However, Shinnosuke Nakamura realized that weeks ago, someone had summoned a water elemental from one of the toilets. Whoever the spy was, they were the one who summoned the water elemental so that Iroyas could control it to attack the city.
"So..." Sayori said, "The spy is someone who can control water?"
"Yes," Shinnosuke said.
"So, it's Kai Hirose, then?" Sayori said. Kai Hirose was a ninja student in the dojo who was really shy around people. He was known for using water-based ninjutsu techniques in his style.
"Well, I don't think he's powerful enough to summon a water elemental," Shinnosuke said. "I mean, summon with the same experience level as Hirose would need some kind of magic item to perform such an advanced technique...wait a minute! It IS Hirose!"
Sayori and Shinnosuke both knew why Hirose could be the spy. He used a trident from the elemental water dimension as his weapon. Many of the students had seen Hirose use water-based attacks before.
Sayori then saw Hirose, far away form the others. Sayori ran up to Hirose.
"Hey Hirose," Sayori said. "How you doin'?"
Hirose suddenly bolted out the door. Shinnosuke and Sayori realized that they had to go after Hirose, because if he was the spy, it would mean bad news if they let him get away.
Meanwhile, Haruna Nakamura, who was not related to Shinnosuke Nakamura, and Antonio Vega, were hanging out together in the park.
"Shouldn't we be looking out for the spy?" Antonio Vega said.
"You're right," Haruna said. "Let me take care of finding the spy, and you can wait here."
Haruna then left, while Antonio Vega was waiting.
Meanwhile, Kuroninja was working in the basement of his dojo, where he had discovered a large area of ice forming somewhere in the city. Although it was almost December, it wasn't supposed to be this cold. Kuroninja went to investigate the mysterious phenomenon.
Shinnosuke and Sayori were also near, having caught up to Kai Hirose. It looked like there was nowhere for him to go, even with his trident, but then Hirose created a geyser of water from a nearby manhole, and sent it at Shinnosuke. Shinnosuke created a barrier with his ninjutsu, preventing the water from hitting him or Sayori. Suddenly, the water started to freeze into ice. It then began to snow, and everyone felt cold.
"W-w-what the heck is going on?" Hirose said.
Suddenly, Iroyas appeared. She was the source of all the cold.
Kuroninja then appeared and attacked Iroyas. Shinnosuke, Sayori, and Hirose were surprised to see Kuroninja. However, before he could stop Iroyas, a large blast of shadow energy hit Kuroninja from behind. Kuroninja turned around and saw Bronzar, along with Yajin Niroku, wearing an electric shock collar.
"Yajin Niroku..." Kuroninja said.
"So you do recognize me!" Yajin Niroku said. "I was afraid you wouldn't especially with this stupid collar they put around me. You know what? I'll spare you, as long as you can somehow take this collar off."
"Shut up and fight!" Bronzar said, as he pressed a button.
Yajin Niroku then got electrocuted, causing him to shoot uncontrolled blasts of shadow energy at Kuroninja. Kuroninja had to dodge all of these blasts of shadow energy. Once he did, he then charged at Bronzar. Bronzar then pressed a button, electrocuting Yajin Niroku again and forcing him to shoot at Kuroninja. Kuroninja was badly damaged, so Bronzar and Yajin Niroku decided to retreat.
Iroyas also decided to retreat with the others. The cold then began clearing up, and everything was warm again. Kuroninja decided to go back to the dojo.
Meanwhile, Antonio Vega was waiting in the park, when Haruna returned.
"So, did you find anything?" Vega said.
"No, I didn't," Haruna said. "We should probably search together."
"Yeah..." Vega said. "That's a great idea."
Back at the dojo, Shinnosuke and Natsuki were trying to get Hirose to talk. Would Hirose admit to being the spy, or would he reveal something else?
Shinnosuke's strategy was to play nice. He knew that Hirose wasn't used to talking to anyone.
"Alright, Hirose," Shinnosuke said. "I understand you've got a lot of struggles, and it's really hard to talk to people. But all we want to know is this: are you working for the Nemesis Clan?"
Hirose wasn't responding. Natsuki then became impatient.
"Hey, Hirose!" Natsuki said aggressively. "What the hell is wrong with you! Just admit it already, you're the spy!"
"Really?" Shinnosuke said to Natsuki.
"Well," Natsuki said, "Hirose just needs to be intimidated enough to confess to being the spy."
"Uhh..." Shinnosuke said. "No offense, but...you don't really seem intimidating."
"How am I not intimidating?" Natsuki asked Shinnosuke.
"Well," Shinnosuke said, "You're too small to be intimidating."
Natsuki got a little upset about what Shinnosuke said.
"Oh yeah?" Natsuki said. "Well...I'll prove you wrong! I'll..." Suddenly she collapsed. Natsuki didn't really like fighting."
"Don't worry, Natsuki." Shinnosuke said. "I'm sorry about underestimating your intimidation skills."
"Get your hands off me," Natsuki said.
Hirose was really annoyed with being stuck in the room with Natsuki and Shinnosuke, who were arguing with each other.
"Excuse me," Hirose said, "but...you know how the spy used my trident to summon a water elemental?"
"Yeah, what about it?" Shinnosuke said.
"I didn't have it with me that time," Hirose said, "but someone was using the washroom when my trident wasn't with me."
Meanwhile, Kuroninja was busy doing some stuff, when suddenly, he received a call from one of his girlfriends. It was Shironinger, who hadn't gone for a date with Kuroninja in a long time. Kuroninja decided to schedule a date for later.
Antonio Vega and Haruna Nakamura were in the park, sitting at a table. Suddenly, Shinnosuke, Sayori, and Hirose appeared.
"There you are, Haruna," Shinnosuke said.
"W-what do you want?" Haruna said.
"Well," Shinnosuke said, "Hirose said that his trident was missing. And at the same time it happened, guess who we found out was in the washroom?"
"So what?" Haruna said. "When you gotta go, you gotta go."
"Yeah," Sayori said, "but this was before a water elemental appeared in the washroom and began attacking everyone...and that trident gives anyone who uses it the power to use advanced techniques such as summoning water elementals! Face it, Haruna, we know you're the spy."
"Actually," Haruna said, "the only thing you have is a testimony from someone who likes keeping his mouth shut. You don't have any proof. Now let me and Vega-kun have some privacy on our date."
Suddenly, Iroyas appeared through a portal.
"Iroyas..." Sayori said. "What are you doing here?"
"I have some unfinished business with you, Sayori," Iroyas said. "Now then, I hope you prepared. You're about to get killed by the Ice Ninja of Despair!"
Iroyas then shot several icicles at Sayori, who ducked. The icicles were about to hit Vega instead. Haruna then got out her bow and shot one arrow at the icicles, moving the arrow so it would strike through each one.
"Wait a minute..." Antonio Vega said. "Those moving arrows...I've seen them before! One of them stung me while I was being assaulted by Shadow Golems!"
"I have no idea what you're talking about, Vega-kun," Haruna said.
"You were the spy all along," Vega said to Haruna.
"Well, I'm sorry you had to find out," Haruna said. "I was trained by Lord Nemesis to kill my targets easily using my force arrows. However, I didn't. And you want to know why?"
"Why?" Vega said.
"Because..." Haruna said. "I noticed your amazing skills when you fought El Ninja Calavera in a wrestling match. And when I saw them, I fell in love! That's right, Antonio Vega! I love you!"
"Sorry," Vega said, "but I'm a fighter."
"I guess you haven't seen my true power, then," Haruna said. She then snapped her fingers. Vega's eyes then turned pink, and he was now under Haruna's control.
"Now, Vega-kun..." Haruna said. "Destroy Shinnosuke for me!"
Antonio Vega, now brainwashed, started attacking Shinnosuke Nakamura. At the same time, Hirose and Sayori were fighting Iroyas. Shinnosuke Nakamura was defending himself with his weapons, but they were no match for Antonio Vega's fire-based attacks and Vega's aggressive fighting style. Shinnosuke Nakamura was about to lose.
Meanwhile, Hirose and Sayori were fighting Iroyas. Hirose summoned a stream of water, but Iroyas froze it. She then got out her chain dart and disarmed Hirose. She then got out her trident and, combining it with her ice abilities, trapped Hirose in a wall of ice.
"I wanted to fight Sayori, not you," Iroyas said to Hirose.
"That was mean," Sayori said, "and I don't like meanies!" She then charged at Iroyas with her rope dart. However, Iroyas struck Sayori with a knee strike, causing Sayori to go onto the ground. Iroyas then went for the finishing strike with her chain dart.
Vega was also about to finish off Shinnosuke, when Shinnosuke found an opening. He knew exactly how to stop the mind control. Vega had obviously been charmed by Haruna, and the only way to stop a charm was by countering it with an even stronger feeling of love. Shinnosuke grabbed Vega's head and turned it to face Sayori, who was about to get killed.
Vega's eyes then went back to normal. He then ran towards Sayori and tackled Iroyas down. He then got a frozen cut on his arm, and he was laying on the ground, very tired.
Shinnosuke and Haruna were both shocked. Haruna tried to get away, but then Shinnosuke trapped her in a barrier.
Sayori then went to check up on Vega.
"Why did you save my life, Vega?" Sayori said, checking up on Vega's cut arm.
"I-I...I only d-did it b-b-b-because I was there..." Vega said.
"Drop the act, Vega," Sayori said. "This is, like, the 5th time you tried to save me!"
"Ok..." Vega said. "Well, the truth is...Sayori, I-I-I-"
"Sayori, I actually like you."
"I knew it!" Shinnosuke was thinking in his head. Unfortunately, this caused him to lose focus on the barrier, and Haruna was now free.
"No, no, no!" Haruna said. "None of you deserve to be with Vega! He's mine!"
"Sorry, Haruna," Vega said, "but as much as you're beautiful, you still had to brainwash me, so we're done."
"This is all your fault, Sayori!" Haruna said. "Once I get recover from this fight, I'm coming for you, and I will take back what you stole from me!"
Haruna then left, and so did Iroyas.
Kuroninja was in the dojo, when Antonio Vega returned. They revealed to Kuroninja that Haruna was the spy. Kuroninja was very shocked, as Haruna was the last person he expected to be the spy, even though it should've been pretty obvious. Haruna was the only one who used a bow and arrow.
Meanwhile, in the Shadōkyō Spire, Necromega had kicked out Lord Nemesis for forcing the DDC to take so many L's. This meant that Bronzar, the captured Yajin Niroku, and Haruna all had to go. However, they didn't take the Shadow Core away.
"Hey Haruna," Bronzar said.
"Yeah, what is it?" Haruna said.
"Here you go." Bronzar then gave Haruna the Shadow Core, along with a Ptera Trooper Morpher. Haruna crushed the Shadow Core into a black coin shape, and then placed the coin into the morpher. She then transformed into Dark PteraRanger.
In the Spire, however, Iroyas was tired. Suddenly, she heard something. Iroyas looked out the window and saw a tall figure with black hair and purple eyes, holding a switchblade. Iroyas was scared, for this was Riyu, the one who killed Iroyas before she was revived by Necromega.
Riyu then appeared in front of Iroyas.
"W-what do you want?" Iroyas said.
"Blade-san and I want a challenge," Riyu said. "We sense a great challenge approaching. Will you lead us to it, or will we have to go through this again?"
"I really don't want any trouble," Iroyas said.
"Well," Riyu said, "I REALLY need a challenge! Now then...WHERE IS THE DARKPRISM ASSASSIN?"
