Kuroninja Gold Episode 6

Episode 6: Inframundo

Kuroninja had just returned from yet another date with Umika, and now he was ready to give lessons at the dojo. Almost everyone was there, except for one: Natsuki. Natsuki had somehow mysteriously disappeared from the Kuroninja Ninjutsu Dojo.

Natsuki was in Cyber Island, outside the door, desperate to get in. She was trying so hard to get in, because she wanted to become a Void Ninja. The reason why was because she felt weak after getting defeated easily by Ikustan, and also because she thought Kuroninja was dead. However, no matter how hard Natsuki tried, Anti-Kuroninja would never let her in.

Meanwhile, in Kuroninja’s dojo, Kuroninja was ready to give his students ninja weapons, because he thought they were ready. Natsuki was the only one who lacked the ninja experience needed for a weapon, but she wasn’t there.

All the ninja students got their weapons, including staffs, nunchaku, katanas, and more. Antonio Vega decided not to choose a weapon, and Hirose was too shy to get weapons with everyone else, so he just waited for the line to disappear. But the time it did, there were no weapons left, and it looked like Hirose couldn’t find any. But then Kuroninja decided to give Hirose a trident as his weapon, not because Hirose was a water ninja, or because Kuroninja was nice (he isn’t), but also because Kuroninja finally had something to do with the antique trident he collected from the Elemental Plane of Water.

Many of the ninja students had their weapons, and now they were ready to train. Haruna Nakamura had chosen a bow and arrow as her weapon. She fired at one of the targets, but the arrow was headed for the bottom instead of the middle. Haruna then slowly raised her hand. The arrow then suddenly stopped heading down and began rising up, hitting the center. Haruna’s force ninja skills, combined with her bow and arrow skills, would make her one of the best of the Kuroninja-style ninjas.

However, Haruna was only one of the best. The other Nakamura who wasn’t related to her, Shinnosuke Nakamura, was attempting to master the sai. He knew from the moment he saw that weapon that this weapon would be a perfect fit for him. A ninja student tried to strike at him with a sword, but Shinnosuke trapped the sword in between the middle and one of the side prongs, and then rotated his wrist to disarm the student.

Kai Hirose was trying to use his trident, but he was too nervous to actually attack anyone with it. The other ninjas-in-training surrounded Hirose and attacked him. Hirose then used his reflexes and pointed the trident towards the students, dousing them with a large jet of water from the trident.

As for Sayori, she chose a piece of rope as a weapon. However, the rope was completely useless, due to the ninja students wearing protective gear. Antonio Vega noticed Sayori having trouble with her choice of weapon, so when Sayori was sitting down with the rope, Vega picked up a kunai. He then approached Sayori, avoiding eye contact, and just dropped the kunai next to her. Vega then left, when suddenly, his phone was ringing. Vega answered the phone.

“Buenos dias, Vega.” A deep voice said.
Vega was shocked when he heard that voice.

Meanwhile, everyone was observing Sayori, who had just made a new weapon. By tying the kunai to one end of the rope, Sayori had just created a rope dart. Although it was a kung fu weapon, one of the ninjas in Kuroninja’s school used Mexican lucha libre instead of traditional ninjutsu, so Kuroninja didn’t care that Sayori was using a kung fu weapon instead of a ninja one. Suddenly, Kuroninja heard Antonio Vega, who was rushing towards the stage, yelling “THEY’RE HERE!”

“Who?” Kuroninja said.
“Nosotros…Inframundo!”

Kuroninja turned around and saw, at the front entrance, a guy wearing a black luchador mask and face paint that looked like something that someone would wear during Dia de los Muertos, followed by a bearded guy in wrestling gear, and another masked luchador, wearing all black, including a black mask that covered his entire face.

“Uhhh…Vega, who are these guys?” Kuroninja asked.
“They’re Inframundo,” Antonio Vega said. “I fought them so many times back home in Mexico, but I have no idea why they’re here.”

The guy with the skull face paint and the black mask was the leader of Inframundo, known as El Ninja Calavera. The bearded man was Juan 23, and the luchador in all black was Medianoche.

“So, Antonio.” El Ninja Calavera said. “You do remember us. We’re here because I have some unfinished business.”
“What unfinished business?” Vega said.
“You have defeated Juan 23 and Medianoche already, along with other very formidable luchadors, including El Tirano Jr, Sin Nombre, and El Inespecifico…but you haven’t defeated the Fearless one…ME!” Calavera said.
“Ok, but why wait all these months until you challenge me?” Vega asked Calavera.
“Well, you see,” Calavera said, “I heard you were taking ninja lessons. And I decided to wait until you were trained enough so you we could have a fight. And I wanted to fight you at your best…PORQUE YO SOY EL NINJA CALAVERA, Y SOY INTREPIDO!”

El Ninja Calavera and the rest of Inframundo left.

“So…” Vega said, “Where are we supposed to host this wrestling match?”
“I know a place,” Kuroninja said. “I’m renting out this one arena nearby…and I also got tickets! Here’s some for the front row, Vega, you can give them to your best friends or something.” Kuroninja then gave Vega some front-row tickets. Vega then left and gave Shinnosuke one.

Vega then went to where Sayori was and tapped her on the shoulder. Sayori turned around and saw Vega.
“Here,” Vega said, giving Sayori the ticket.
“What’s this?” Sayori said.
“It’s a ticket so you can watch my fight against El Ninja Calavera in the front row,” Vega said. “Take it or leave it.”
“Ok,” Sayori said, taking the front row ticket from Vega.

Shinnosuke then asked Antonio Vega why he gave the other front row ticket to Sayori.
“I don’t get it,” Shinnosuke said to Antonio Vega. “Why her? Do you like her or something?”
“What? No!” Antonio Vega said. “I only did it ‘cause I’m a nice guy. It’s not like I like her or anything! Estupido!”
“Yeah, right.” Shinnosuke muttered to himself as he left the dojo.

Meanwhile, El Ninja Calavera was busy training for his match, but then he got hit by a motorcycle. El Ninja Calavera had survived, but he was unable to compete due to his leg being injured.
“I wish my leg fixed easily so I could just fight,” El Ninja Calavera said.
Suddenly, a shadow portal opened. Yajin Niroku and Ikustan appeared from the portal.

“Your wish is our command,” Yajin Niroku said.
“What the- who are you?” Calavera said.
“I’m just a random passerby,” Yajin Niroku said, “but that fight seems interesting. Are you sure you just want to recover your leg?”
“Healing my leg isn’t enough…” Calavera said. “I need to defeat my opponent!”
“Then I have just the thing,” Yajin Niroku said. He brought out a Shadow Core and shoved it into El Ninja Calavera. El Ninja Calavera could feel the dark power flowing through him.

The next night, the venue was ready. The wrestling ring was set up, and many people were ready to watch the fight between El Ninja Calavera and Antonio Vega. Kuroninja was one of the people in the front row, and he was sitting in the middle, between Momoninger and LupinYellow, with Shironinger behind Kuroninja.

The fighters then made their entrance. First, Antonio Vega made his way to the ring, followed by El Ninja Calavera. Kuroninja noticed something weird about El Ninja Calavera.

The bell rang, and Antonio Vega charged at El Ninja Calavera, who picked him up and slammed him down. Calavera then began beating Vega up with his fists. Vega then got up, but then Calavera punched Antonio Vega. Vega then went flying into another corner.

Kuroninja, who was in the audience, realized what was going on. Somehow, El Ninja Calavera had shadow energy within him.

Antonio Vega had just knocked Calavera out, but Calavera rolled out of the ring. This didn’t stop Vega, though, who climbed up the top rope and dove off, landing on El Ninja Calavera. El Ninja Calavera then got up easily and sprayed black mist into Antonio Vega’s eyes without the referee looking. He then pushed Antonio Vega back in the ring and put him in a submission hold. Vega then trapped the bottom rope to escape. He realized what was going on. El Ninja Calavera had somehow gotten the powers of shadow energy, so he needed to use his own ninja skills. Antonio Vega got out his fist, which somehow lighted itself on fire. Vega then punched Calavera with his fire fist, and took him down with a dropkick. Calavera then got up and charged at Vega with black flames coming from his fists, but Vega took Calavera down with an uppercut. The Shadow Core inside El Ninja Calavera left Calavera’s body and shattered into black dust. Vega then went for the pin.

1…2…3!

Antonio Vega had defeated El Ninja Calavera. While he celebrated, Kuroninja was wondering how El Ninja Calavera was able to channel shadow energy within him.

Meanwhile, Natsuki was still in Cyber Island, trying to get Anti-Kuroninja to let her in so she could become a Void Ninja. Natsuki then decided to leave. Suddenly, Anti-Kuroninja’s voice on the intercom played.
“Hey, Natsuki!” Anti-Kuroninja said. “Are you tired?”
“Yes,” Natsuki said. “I’ve been waiting patiently for you to let me in so I can become a void ninja…but it’s not worth it! I’m leaving, and I’m going to find someone else to teach me!”
Natsuki was about to leave, but then the doors opened. Anti-Kuroninja was there.
“Congratulations,” Anti-Kuroninja said. “You passed lesson 1 on being a Void Ninja.”
“What was lesson 1?” Natsuki asked.
“The first lesson on being a Void Ninja,” Anti-Kuroninja said, “is that Void Ninjas always give up.”
