Kuroninja X Episode 1
Episode 1: Earth-10 Invasion
Kuroninja was a very powerful ninja who had earned his place within the Sentai Rangers by completing the 5 Ninja Trials. However, unlike other Sentai Rangers, Kuroninja preferred to work alone...sometimes with his apprentice/roommate. He had a customized fighting style that combined basic ninja skills with the way of the Orchid Ninja, but the way Kuroninja transformed into a Ranger was very similar to how the Ninningers changed into their Ranger Form. Kuroninja never took his helmet off in public.
Kuroninja’s apprentice was Ran, who used to be the purple ranger of the Flowery Kunoichi Team, until they broke up after a large battle against Kuroninja’s archenemy, Anti-Kuroninja. Kuroninja met the Flowery Kunoichi Team while he was completing the 5 Ninja Trials, and because of this, he was able to get a lot of powerups, including the Flower Shuriken. Both Kuroninja and Ran lived in a large house in the woods. This house was originally supposed to be a ninja school, but Anti-Kuroninja invaded, so Kuroninja had to close the ninja school down and plant trees to hide the house from other enemies and villains.
Recently, Kuroninja had defeated himself from another universe known as Earth-4. This lookalike from another universe was known as Akuroninja. Akuroninja used to be the evil ruler of a parallel universe known as Earth-4, but he wanted to conquer other universes, so he invented some portal-creating devices that allowed him and others to go to other universes, including Earth-1, Kuroninja’s universe and the main Super Sentai universe. However, Akuroninja would soon create an ultimate weapon. Kuroninja defeated Akuroninja and destroyed the ultimate weapon, but Akuroninja died after Kuroninja defeated him. Kuroninja then got the portal-creating equipment and brought it to Earth-1.
The portal-creating equipment was now in the hands of the Cyberninja Tech Company, a group that created robotic ninjas known as Cyberninjas. Cyberninjas followed orders just like normal robots, but these robots were expensive to create as making them required the soul of a deceased ninja or warrior. The Cyberninja Tech Company was an ally of Anti-Kuroninja, Kuroninja’s archenemy, and they operated on Cyber Island, an artificial Island very close to the city where Kuroninja lived.
Anti-Kuroninja wanted to think of something to do with the portal-creating gear. Unlike many villains, who focused on world domination or destroying all life, Anti-Kuroninja only cared about proving that he was better than Kuroninja. He would do that by exposing Kuroninja’s weaknesses, and he was also the first to win against Kuroninja. Anti-Kuroninja knew that to prove that he was better than Kuroninja, he needed power, which is what the portal-creating equipment had.
Anti-Kuroninja was focused on replicating the portal-creating equipment, because the director of the Cyberninja Tech Company wanted to upgrade the Cyberninjas and give them the ability to travel to other universes. Anti-Kuroninja began the process of dissecting the device. During this process, he found a small gemstone. The evil scientists ran some tests, and found out that this gemstone allowed the device to make portals to other universes. Anti-Kuroninja needed to prove it, so the scientists built a portal generator with the gemstone.
When the generator was finished, Anti-Kuroninja ordered the workers to turn it on. One of the workers told Anti-Kuroninja that they haven’t decided which universe it would go to, but Anti-Kuroninja said “I don’t care what universe it goes to! Just activate it!”
The generator created a purple-coloured portal, even though the portal-creating devices created red portals. Nothing happened at first, but then smoke appeared from the portal. Anti-Kuroninja shut down the portal, but the smoke cleared, and he could see a man in gold samurai armour covering his entire body, and ninjas wearing black robes and black ninja masks. Their faces had green skin and yellow snakelike eyes. The gold samurai got out a flute and played a nice melody. The ninjas with yellow eyes circled Anti-Kuroninja. That’s when the gold samurai played an aggressive tune, and the ninjas attacked Anti-Kuroninja. Anti-Kuroninja was able to fight back, but then he accidentally turned on the portal while he was running away. More yellow-eyed ninjas appeared from the portal. One of them put his mask on, but before he put his mask on, it was revealed that these ninjas with yellow eyes were human-snake hybrids. Snakemen.
Kuroninja was watching the news, when he noticed that evil ninjas led by a gold samurai were attacking random people in the city, especially the park, and the gold samurai was planting weird seeds in unauthorized locations. Kuroninja knew that he had to stop these ninjas, whoever they were.
Kuroninja rushed to the park, and saw the gold samurai about to plant one of the weird seeds in the ground. Quickly, he threw a shuriken at the gold samurai’s hand, making him drop the seed before it could be planted. Then he got a sword and destroyed the seed. The gold samurai was upset that the seed was destroyed. He then pulled out his flute and sent the Snakemen to attack Kuroninja, but Kuroninja was stronger than last time. He defeated the Snakemen easily. The gold samurai then picked up one of the defeated Snakemen, and fed him a weird fruit that looked similar to those seeds. The Snakeman then grew bigger. It was now a Big Snakeman.
Knowing he had to defeat the Big Snakeman, Kuroninja charged at it, but the Big Snakeman was too tough. He grabbed Kuroninja and threw him on the ground. Kuroninja was heavily damaged, but he got his Kage (Shadow) Shuriken and tried using it on the Big Snakeman. Unfortunately, it had no effect on the Big Snakeman because it saw its targets based on their heat. Kuroninja didn’t know about this yet.
The Big Snakeman was too powerful for Kuroninja and it grabbed Kuroninja by the throat. But then Kuroninja’s hands started glowing, and a large snake eye appeared in front of Kuroninja. Kuroninja punched the Big Snakeman, knocking it down. Kuroninja, however, didn’t know what this power was. What he knew was that he needed to use his finisher before the Big Snakeman got up, so that was what he did. Kuroninja did his Kuroninja Final Strike on the Big Snakeman, which got destroyed in a large explosion. Normally monsters would grow, but Kuroninja’s opponents never did that.
Back at home, Kuroninja was wondering who these new enemies were and how did they appear. He also didn’t know where that sudden power surge came from. Ran tried to comfort Kuroninja, but Kuroninja was still tense. He still felt a little better.
