Kuroninja Gold Episode 26

Episode 26: Saving Sayori

Episode 25 had left off with a light blue portal appearing in front of Antonio Vega. However, in order to understand how this happened, this story must rewind, so it can focus on stuff happening outside Earth-1. And you know what that means...

It's rewind time.

The story has been rewinded back to the beginning of chapter 25, right after Sayori died in Antonio Vega's arms. The Kuroninja of Earth-0, who appeared as a red-orange version of Kuroninja, was writing the scene down, when a dark red portal appeared. Out came Lady Akinom.

"Akinom..." Kuroninja of Earth-0 said. "What are you doing here?"
"I just came to give you a visit," Akinom said. "I'm just here to remind you that my Perfect Conqueror, Akuroninja, has killed your chosen one."
Kuroninja of Earth-0 had somehow forgotten about how he made Sayori the chosen one in the Kuroninja Multiverse. Sayori was also one of the few who could defeat Kuroninja.
"You killed Sayori?" Kuroninja of Earth-0 said. "But...she was supposed to be the one to defeat Akuroninja! Now what am I supposed to do?"
"Well," Akinom said, "sometimes you'll find yourself facing a difficult decision...when that happens, don't forget to reset your game. It's not like you'll change your mind...or something will happen." Akinom then kissed Kuroninja of Earth-0 on the cheek and left through another portal. Kuroninja of Earth-0 felt weird, but then turned around and saw Monika standing behind him.

"Oh, hey Monika!" Kuroninja of Earth-0 said. "I didn't see you there."
"Sayori's dead?" Monika asked Kuroninja of Earth-0.
"Sadly, yes," Kuroninja of Earth-0 said. "Akuroninja killed her."
"How could you let this happen?" Monika told Kuroninja of Earth-0. "I thought she was supposed to be the chosen one!"
"She was," Kuroninja of Earth-0 said, "but then I changed my mind. There is someone with a 100% chance of defeating Kuroninja.

Monika wanted to bring the vice president of her club back from the dead, and in order to do so, she had to delete the one with a 100% chance of defeating Kuroninja from the Multiverse. Monika traveled to the Nature Dimension to find her. She turned around and saw Monika. Monika had ran into the very first Void Ninja.

"So you're the one who can defeat Kuroninja..." Monika said.
"That's right," the very first Void Ninja said.
Monika then tried to delete the very first Void Ninja, but nothing was happening.
"What's the matter?" the very first Void Ninja asked. "Having trouble erasing me from existence?"
"Why are my powers not working on you?" Monika said.
"Let me ask you something," the Void Ninja replied. "How can you erase something when you don't know their name?"
Due to nobody in the Kuroninja Multiverse not knowing her name, the very first Void Ninja was immune to being erased from reality.
"Stop trying to erase me," the very first Void Ninja said. "I can help you get Sayori back."
"Ok," Monika said. "What is it?"
"There are no permanent deaths in the Kuroninja Multiverse," the very first Void Ninja said. "Everyone from the Prime Dimension goes to one of the 9 Outer Dimensions when they die based on their alignment. I believe that Sayori has gone to the harmonious colony of Utopia."
"How do I get there?" Monika asked.
"You can't," the very first Void Ninja said. "Utopia, due to being the lawful good dimension, has a lot of security. It has a barrier that prevents anyone inside from using their powers, and only a few can open portals to Utopia."

Monika then left the Nature Dimension, and Kuroninja of Earth-0 knew what had to be done. He opened a portal to Utopia on Earth-1, which was the light blue portal that appeared in front of Antonio Vega. As for the very first Void Ninja, she realized how personal this was becoming, so she teleported Kuroninja away to help him defeat Akuroninja.

Kuroninja then woke up inside the Nature Dimension, feeling a little tired. He then saw a ninja warrior in light grey, who had a beautiful face with short, blond hair. She looked very familiar to Kuroninja.
"You seem familiar," Kuroninja said. "Who are you?"
"I am the very first Void Ninja in the Multiverse," the person said, "but nobody ever speaks my name. Not even I."
"I think I know who you are..." Kuroninja said, "...but now that I know, I now understand why no one speaks your name. But why did you teleport me here?"
"I've heard about your battle against Akuroninja," the very first Void Ninja said, "and I'm here to help you use the power needed to defeat him. All you have to do is defeat me."
"That's easy," Kuroninja said. "Kuroninja always wins."

Outside the Inner Multiverse, Antonio Vega had arrived on the other side of the portal. He found himself in a large forest covered with emerald green spruce trees and snow, yet somehow, despite there being snow and crystals of ice present, the weather was not cold. It was just right. The sky was also sky blue, the colour that skies are supposed to be during the day. A straight path led Vega into the gates of Utopia, the gigantic city that this dimension was named after. The gates were white and futuristic, with light blue lights on them. Instead of a giant wall, though, the city and the snowy fields were separated by a light blue forcefield that allowed insiders of the city to look outside and admire the coolness. The gate scanned Vega's face and turned off the gate's forcefield, letting Antonio Vega walk in. Vega was allowed in because he was a good guy, even though he wasn't lawful good.

The city of Utopia was just as scenic as the outside. Everywhere in the city, there were a lot of tall, futuristic skyscrapers. The walls of every skyscraper were painted with the whitest of whites, and every window was tinted with cyan. Armoured guards in their white and blue uniforms patrolled the city, but despite their faceless helmets and weapons, they didn't look intimidating or scary to the civilians. Surprisingly for Antonio Vega, the city wasn't as crowded as he expected, and there was a lot of space to walk around. Antonio Vega was waiting by a fountain, when a hologram appeared in front of him. This hologram had a humanoid body but no head. This hologram was the leader of Utopia and the Interdimensional Guardian of lawful good, Nodroz.

"Hello, Antonio Vega," Nodroz said. "Welcome to Utopia."
"I was expecting this place to be a bit more crowded..." Antonio Vega said.
"Well," Nodroz said, "it's really hard to make it here. A lot of people in the Multiverse think they'll end up here, but they end up going to one of the other afterlives instead, mostly Paradise, Clockwork, the Underworld, and Darkprism. Anyway, my senses say you're not supposed to be dead. What brings you here?"
"I came to see someone," Antonio Vega said. "She got killed by an evil warrior-"
"-and you want to bring her back to life?" Nodroz said. "Well it's not going to be easy."

"You probably don't know this," Nodroz said, "but every outer dimension has different ways of dealing with people who come to the Outer Dimensions because of death, and they try to leave. The Neutral Good dimension of Paradise has some type of food that makes you never want to leave, Za Gontoretto keeps everyone entertained through either watching or participating in fights, Clockwork gives you so much work that you become too tired to leave, Kaos keeps changing so it's hard to find an exit anyway, Darkprism has guards everywhere, since it's a prison dimension, anyone who tries to leave the Underworld gets their souls taken from them by Pluto, and the Wasteworld has infinite layers, and it'll take you a really, really long time to find an exit."
"Oh." Vega said.
"But here in Utopia," Nodroz said, "we let the civilians choose if they want to leave or not. Most of them don't really leave anyway, because they feel like they aren't needed anymore in their original homeworld. So good luck trying to convince your friend!"

Meanwhile, in the nature dimension, Kuroninja had already tried to defeat the very first Void Ninja 68 times, and he was ready to do it again. Kuroninja got out his sword and charged at the very first Void Ninja, who just slapped Kuroninja in the face, sending him flying into the nearby tree.

"I-is that all you've got?" Kuroninja said.
"Come on," the very first void ninja said. "I already defeated you 69 times, what makes you think this will be different?"
"I must defeat Akuroninja again," Kuroninja said. "It doesn't matter how many times it takes before I defeat you...this is the Nature Dimension! Hours spent here are just seconds in the normal world!"

Back in Utopia, Antonio Vega was riding on a white elevator, with a white carpet on the floor. He was making his way up to Sayori's room in Utopia. The door opened, and Antonio stepped out. He walked through the white hallway and made his way to Sayori's room, somehow instinctively knowing where it was. Antonio knocked on the white door, which had a light blue light on it. The door opened. It was Sayori. She was really surprised to see Antonio Vega at the door.
"Antonio Vega!?" Sayori said. "What are you doing here?"
"What does it look like I'm doing?" Antonio asked. "I came here to see you."
Antonio Vega then went inside Sayori's room.

The room was small, but it was big enough for two people to walk around without bumping into each other. The walls, floor, ceiling, and furniture followed the same white and light blue colour scheme that every building in Utopia followed. However, some of Sayori's most valuable possessions, or at least copies of them, were decorating the room so that it would have more variety. Right next to the bed was a large stuffed toy of a cow. On a white desk, there were stacks of books, notebooks, a pencil holder, and an emerald green orb with the faint image of an East Asian dragon. Antonio Vega was fascinated with the orb.
"Whoa," Antonio Vega said. "That orb looks so cool."
"I almost forgot about this," Sayori said. "Some Kuroninja in green gave it to me, but I forgot why. Anyway, what are you doing here?"
"I came here to bring you back," Antonio Vega said. "I need your help to defeat Akuroninja!"
"Sorry, can't help you," Sayori said. "I'm fine here."
"Really?" Antonio Vega said. "But...you seemed very happy and stuff...that was just you on the outside, wasn't it?"
"Yeah, it was," Sayori said. "I've been feeling useless in the Kuroninja Multiverse lately...all I've been doing is getting kidnapped and having my life saved! So I decided to do something about it and save your life...and now that I've done it, my work in the Kuroninja Multiverse is done."
"Come on, Sayori!" Antonio Vega said. "I know there's still people in the Multiverse who need you, and not just me!"

Meanwhile, in the Nature Dimension, Kuroninja was still losing to the very first Void Ninja. 351 losses had been added to Kuroninja's attempts while the focus was on Antonio Vega trying to get Sayori to leave Utopia.
"Ok..." Kuroninja said. "After all these losses, I finally realize it, and I should've when I realized your name. Me losing to you or any of your other dimensional counterparts is inevitable. I shall admit my defeat."
"Congratulations," the very first Void Ninja said. "You have passed the test."
"Wait a minute..." Kuroninja said. "I passed the test by giving up and accepting defeat...does this mean...I have VOID NINJA POWERS now? But then...Anti-Kuroninja could've easily defeated Akuroninja, or even Natsuki! She's Voidninger!"
"Actually," the very first Void Ninja said, "this is more advanced than the Void Ninjutsu you've already seen. You have been given the power to absorb the elements and use them against your opponents. Now get out."
Kuroninja then teleported out of the Nature Dimension and back to Earth-1.

Kuroninja then saw a light blue portal open. It was Antonio Vega. He had failed to convince Sayori to return from the dead and help defeat Akuroninja.

Kuroninja of Earth-0 was also upset with this. Monika was standing next to Kuroninja of Earth-0, not saying anything.
"Wait a minute!" Kuroninja of Earth-0 said. "Sayori is not one of my OCs, I can't change her personality! Why aren't you helping?"
"It's your story," Monika said, as she started to leave.
"What's the problem?" Kuroninja of Earth-0 asked. "Is it because you saw your shadow dimension counterpart kiss me on the cheek?"
"No," Monika said.
"Ok, what is it, then?" Kuroninja of Earth-0 asked. He started thinking for a moment, and then it hit him.
"It's because I'm not taking you to my prom this year, isn't it?" Kuroninja of Earth-0 said. Monika was nowhere to be seen.
"Yeah, that's definitely the reason," Kuroninja of Earth-0 thought. "I've got to get Sayori back so that Monika can forgive me."

Kuroninja of Earth-0 was wondering how he could do that. He then decided to get some french fries with vinegar. However, while he was in his kitchen, when holding the bottle of vinegar, he tripped and the vinegar bottle landed on the counter. It began to pour on a spilled bag of baking soda. You don't need to be a genius to know what happened next.

This gave Kuroninja of Earth-0 an idea on how to revive Sayori.
