Ryusoulger Episode 7 Review
Last year, a former Morning Musume member appeared in Lupinranger vs Patoranger. This year, a former Morning Musume member is appearing in this episode. Does this mean that next year...are you thinking what I'm thinking?
Hey guys, it is I, Kuroninja! Today I'm going to be reviewing the 7th episode of Ryusoulger, which is also the last Super Sentai episode of the Heisei Era! Last episode, Tankjo got defeated, but what's happening now?
So in this episode, Koh heard a song coming from an amusement park. That was when he ran into a Minosaur themed after a cockatrice. However, the Minosaur isn't the one who sang the song. This one does have sound-based attacks, but they sound really bad that they knock people out. Fortunately, Koh was wearing earplugs so it had no effect on him.
That's not all, though. He then ran into a new member of the Druidon Tribe, Wizul. It seems like I was right with my predictions for what this guy's fighting style is like. Unlike Tankjo, who fights up close and uses his power against the Ryusoulgers, this guy seems to play dirty. He protects himself by using brainwashed children as shields, which I assume come from the Minosaur knocking them out. Koh is unable to fight back against Wizul and the T-posing children, so he retreats for now.
Meanwhile, Towa seems to be opening up to the Ryusoulgers, but Banba is still unsure about joining them. He believes that he can't trust anyone, which makes me wonder: what happened to him that caused him to think this way? Anyway, that's when they ran into Cardena, the princess of Cepeus, a planet whose people were enslaved by Wizul. Also, Cardena's Earth-0 counterpart is a singer who used to be in Morning Musume, similar to Lupin Yellow. Anyway, she's looking for her sister, Fita, who got captured by the Druidon, and I just found out that Fita's Earth-0 counterpart is also an idol (not from Morning Musume though) whose colour in the group is orange! Does this mean...actually, that's probably not going to happen. It's very unlikely for my Earth-0 counterpart's favourite idol (who's in a group known as Idol College) to appear in an episode of Super Sentai.
Anyway, the Ryusoulgers are able to rescue everyone, but during the giant battle, they are unable to defeat the Minosaur, who uses the children as shields. It appears that this will continue in the next episode.
So overall, we got a new villain, and this episode got me to talk about Earth-0, something I almost never do since Earth-0 is the worst Earth in the entire Multiverse. This episode is...
