Kuroninja Gold Episode 4
Episode 4: Natsuki e Ikustan
In the Kuroninja Ninjutsu Dojo, Kuroninja was busy teaching his students basic ninja moves. Most of the students, such as Antonio, Shinnosuke, and Haruna showed off their excellent ninja skills, while others were still catching up. One of those who were still catching up was Natsuki, who failed to perform a single ninja strike because she couldn’t reach far enough.
It was 5pm, so the students were dismissed. However, Natsuki wanted to see Kuroninja for advice on how to become a better ninja.
“Hey, Kuroninja-sensei...how am I supposed to get better at Ninjutsu?” Natsuki asked.
“Well,” Kuroninja said, “I don’t think it’s a good idea to get advice from me. I’m supposed to be the guy you’re not supposed to look up to.”
“But...” Natsuki said, “I need advice! Everyone else is better at Ninjutsu than me!”
“Well, you see,” Kuroninja said, “Every ninja has the own fighting style. You just haven’t found yours yet. For example, Antonio Vega, as annoying as he is, he’s really good at Ninjutsu because of how he combined basic Ninjutsu with his lucha libre experience. But if you really want advice, I’ve got some. Never...”
Suddenly, Flower Ninja Yuri appeared.
“Kuroninja, someone’s here to see you!” Yuri said.
“Is it Anti-Kuroninja again?” Kuroninja sighed. “Just activate one of the traps I’ve set up for him and...”
“No, it’s someone else!” Yuri said. She then whispered something in Kuroninja’s ear. Kuroninja was shocked. Kuroninja then turned to Natsuki.
“Sorry about this, but I’ve got some important stuff to do,” Kuroninja said. He then rushed to the secret lab with Yuri.
Kuroninja and Yuri returned to the secret lab, where a familiar face was waiting.
“You again...” Kuroninja said. Kuroninja Gold has returned.
“Oh hi, Kuroninja,” Kuroninja Gold said. “My name is Kuroninja Gold, but I think you know that already.”
“What are you doing here, Kuroninja Gold?” Kuroninja said.
“Well,” Kuroninja Gold said, “I’m here on a mission. Lord Nemesis has escaped from Darkprism. Those shadow guys and Bronzar are part of the Nemesis Clan...okay, maybe Bronzar, but I have no idea what Yajin Niroku and Ikustan were doing there.”
“Hmmm...” Kuroninja said. “So what can you tell me about this “Lord Nemesis” person?”
“He was one of the most dangerous villains I had ever fought. Not only did he conquer Earth-4, but he killed my teammates.”
“Your teammates?” Kuroninja said.
A long time ago, on Earth-25, Kuroninja Gold was the leader of a group of 6 rangers known as Kuroninja Sentai Kuroninger. Their members were Kuroninja Red, Kuroninja Blue, Kuroninja Yellow, Kuroninja Green, Kuroninja Pink, and Kuroninja Gold. All 6 of them defended Earth-25, but then a giant airship appeared. It was led by several Enforcers, along with Lord Nemesis, who had just created a device that let him travel to other universes. Lord Nemesis killed all the Kuroningers, starting with Kuroninja Red, but Kuroninja Gold survived. He found a mysterious sword and used it
to drive Lord Nemesis back into Earth-4.
“Ok, so what about Lord Nemesis?” Kuroninja said.
“I’m just here to protect this area until Lord Nemesis is defeated again,” Kuroninja Gold said. “You see, I have his only weakness.” Kuroninja Gold held up the Sword of Absolute Power.
Meanwhile, Yajin Niroku and Ikustan were somewhere in the mountains, cooking something on the barbecue. Ikustan had recently prepared some barbecue skewers, but something was off about her this time.
“What’s wrong, Ikustan?” Yajin Niroku asked her.
“There’s something about that girl,” Ikustan said. “The one from when we invaded Kuroninja’s dojo. I was so close to snapping her neck, but Anti-Kuroninja protected her.”
“You’re talking about Natsuki, right?” Yajin Niroku said.
“So that’s her name...” Ikustan said. “I want to fight her again!”
“Ok, Ikustan, but remember...” Yajin Niroku said, “I don’t want anything bad happening to you. Remember that one time during the Dark Dimensional Wars? Unlike Iyoras and General Akinom, you’re lucky to have survived.”
“Oh, please,” Ikustan said. “This isn’t some Invasion from the Far Realm. She doesn’t even have any ninja experience...”
“Ok, fine,” Yajin Niroku said.
Back at the Kuroninja Dojo, Kuroninja and Kuroninja Gold were sparring each other. Although Kuroninja had faced tough opponents before, it felt like Kuroninja Gold was pushing Kuroninja to the limit.
“How are you so powerful?” Kuroninja asked Kuroninja Gold.
“Well,” Kuroninja Gold said, “I’m only using a fraction of my full power. Lord Nemesis is very powerful, and since you’ve faced enemies that use Shadow Energy, I need to train you in combat scenarios where you can’t rely on any Shadow Ninja moves.”
“What is it?” Kuroninja said.
“You’ll see,” Kuroninja Gold said. “However, I must warn you. The Ninjutsu training I’ve went through was more gruelling than your Five Ninja Trials.”
“How many trials did you have to take?” Kuroninja asked.
“25,” Kuroninja Gold said. “Just like your favourite Space Sheriff Gavan episode.”
Meanwhile, Natsuki was alone in the park, sitting down and eating some of the cupcakes she had baked for Kuroninja and the other students, but she forgot to give them. Natsuki had felt useless. She had absolutely no experience with Ninjutsu whatsoever, and it didn’t look like she was improving, as
well.
Suddenly, clouds started covering the sun, making the sky darker. These clouds weren’t rain clouds, but there were still a lot of them. Natsuki sensed an ominous presence. She put her cupcakes down and stood up from the park bench. In front her was Ikustan, who was cooking some barbecue skewers. Ikustan put the skewer down.
“Hello, Natsuki,” Ikustan said.
“You!” Natsuki said. “You’re the weirdo who tried to break my neck!”
“I couldn’t help it,” Ikustan said. “But trying is not enough! I’m here to finish what I started!” Natsuki thought of running. After all, Ikustan was very dangerous and unpredictable. However, there was something else going through Natsuki’s mind. If she could defeat Ikustan, it could prove that she wasn’t useless after all.
“Alright, Ikustan...” Natsuki said. “Go for it!”
Natsuki then pulled out the Momoninger Shuriken, along with the sword that the Ninningers used. These two items were given when Natsuki kidnapped Momoninger and kept her hostage in a secret cave, all because the creator of the Kuroninja Series had no idea what to do with Natsuki.
Natsuki placed the Momoninger Shuriken on the ninja sword and pressed the blue button near the blade.
“THE HENGE!” A voice announced.
“Shuriken Henge!” Natsuki said, spinning the shuriken. Natsuki transformed into Another Momoninger.
“So, you can transform into a ranger, huh? This is going to be fun,” Ikustan said, as she grabbed a barbecue stick with no meat on it, charging at Natsuki.
Ikustan and Natsuki’s weapons of choice clashed, and the two began fighting. Natsuki tried her best to defeat Ikustan, but Ikustan was more experienced with fighting. Natsuki went for a chop, but Ikustan grabbed Natsuki’s arm and twisted it. She then kicked Natsuki in the face, knocking her out and forcing her to untransform. However, instead of snapping Natsuki’s neck, Ikustan woke Natsuki up so she could tell her something.
“That was boring,” Ikustan said. “Come back to me when you’re not weak...” “....and then when I break your neck, it will be more fun.”
Ikustan then left, while Natsuki collapsed again. Rainclouds then appeared, and the rain began to
pour.
Meanwhile, Kuroninja had just finished his intense sparring session with Kuroninja Gold. Kuroninja left the secret lab, and when he looked out the window, it was raining.
Flower Ninja Ayame then went up to Kuroninja while he was looking out the window. “Wow, that’s a lot of rain,” Ayame said.
“Something sad probably happened,” Kuroninja said.
“What are you talking about?” Ayame said.
“We’re in a fictional story,” Kuroninja said, “and in a lot of these, it usually rains when something sad happens. Everything’s unrealistic here, but I don’t care.”
“So...are you sure you can take on Lord Nemesis, Kuroninja?” Ayame said.
“Not really,” Kuroninja said. “Like, I know I always win, but...Lord Nemesis is really powerful, and I don’t think I can take him on my own, especially since Kuroninja Gold showed up.” “Don’t worry,” Ayame said. “You’ve got the help of Team Kuroninja...especially me.”
“So how are you going to help me take down Lord Nemesis?” Kuroninja asked.
“Like this...” Ayame said, as she and Kuroninja suddenly kissed. As the two of them were kissing, the rainclouds began forming into thunderclouds.
Meanwhile, in the park, Natsuki was knocked out still, when a portal appeared. Lord Nemesis and Bronzar walked out of the portal, followed by several Shadow Golems. Natsuki and Ikustan both looked the same, both of them having pink hair, so when Lord Nemesis saw Natsuki knocked out, he was surprised.
“Well, well, well,” Lord Nemesis said. “If it isn’t Ikustan, one of the traitors to the Nemesis Clan. Bronzar, destroy her while she’s still sleeping!”
“Wait,” Bronzar said. “Yajin Niroku isn’t here. We must take her hostage so that Yajin Niroku will come to us. Then we destroy the both of them!”
“That’s a great idea,” Lord Nemesis said.
Lord Nemesis and Bronzar then put the unconscious Natsuki in a small steel cage, and then they left the park, taking the cage with them.
