Riderverse Reviews: Kamen Rider Zi-O Episode 7
It's show time.
Hey guys, it is I, Kuroninja! I had just came back from watching a performance in Tokyo, and it was really great! Speaking of performances, that's what this episode is about. So basically, this episode started with Sougo and co. going to see a magic show.
Now when you think of magic shows, you think of pulling rabbits out of hats and cheap card-tricks. However, the magician performing doesn't do tricks. he's actually doing real magic. Geiz and Sougo wonder if he's using the power of Kamen Rider Wizard, even though there are other possible explanations. Guess what? He is. This magician guy turned out to be Kamen Rider Another Wizard, who became an another rider to save his studio from shutting down.
This is the first time we see an Another Rider who isn't a cereal kidnapper this time. He's actually using his powers to keep the show running, but then Geiz decides to attack him anyway. He only turns evil after finding out that the person he loves is about to marry his coworker. Also, we got to see the Time Jackers do something, and it looks like Woz is more than just a guy who appears randomly to make sure history continues. He might start taking action soon to make sure Kamen Rider Zi-O becomes an overlord...maybe he becomes a Kamen Rider himself or something...don't ask me how I know this.
So anyway, the first few episode of Zi-O were ok, but this episode was interesting as it explores the psychology of Geiz and Sougo and how they have different ideas, such as how Kamen Rider Zi-O believes he can become a good overlord, while Geiz is from a timeline where Zi-O becoming evil already happened and stuff. This episode is...
