Kuroninja Gold Episode 5

Episode 5: The Episode Where Kuroninja Dies

One day, in the park, Kuroninja’s students in his dojo were hanging out. The only ones who weren’t there were Haruna Nakamura, and Kai Hirose. Hirose was always mysteriously disappearing, but nobody really minded. As for Haruna, she was one of the ninjas invited, and everyone was waiting impatiently for her. However, she wasn’t there.

3 of the students, Antonio Vega, Shinnosuke Nakamura, and Sayori, were hanging out with each other, when suddenly, Nakamura noticed some portals appearing. Shadow Golems, under the command of soldiers that served the Nemesis Clan, had appeared. One of the groups led by a Nemesis Clan soldier approached the park. This was an invasion of the Nemesis Clan.

“Attention everyone,” the soldier said. “Surrender now or be destroyed.”

Antonio Vega put his chicken wrap down and prepared his ninja sword. As for Sayori, she charged into battle and was immediately taken down by a gang of Shadow Golems.
“Oh no,” Shinnosuke said. “Now we’ve got to save Sayori.”
“Wait!” Antonio said. “Look over there!”
Someone else was being attacked by Shadow Golems.
“I’ll go save Sayori, you go save the guys over there!” Antonio said.

As Antonio Vega charged at the Shadow Golems, Shinnosuke went the other way. Wearing his ninja robes, he thrusted his fist at the Shadow Golems, taking them down with a large sonic boom. Vega, on the other hand, was somehow able to use ninjutsu to make his hands into a flamethrower. It had no effect on the Shadow Golems at all, but it distracted them so that Sayori could escape. Vega then realized his fire ninjutsu wasn’t working, so he took down the Shadow Golems with his wrestling moves.

“Hmm…so these are Kuroninja’s students?” The soldier said. “The Peace Officer was right, they will be a perfect addition to Lord Nemesis’ ranks.” The soldier then opened up a portal back and left.

Vega, Shinnosuke, and Sayori returned back to where the others were. Vega and Shinnosuke were talking to each other about the fight.
“So, why did you choose to save Sayori yourself, Vega?” Shinnosuke said. “Is it because you like her or something?”
“L-like her?” Vega replied. “That’s ridiculous! I only did it because I can.”
“So…why’s your face red, then?” Shinnosuke asked Vega.
“Well…it’s really hot outside……” Vega said nervously, trying to hide the fact that he was blushing.

Haruna then showed up, in her black ninja uniform with pink lines.
“Sorry I’m late, guys. Did I miss anything?” She asked.

Meanwhile, Kuroninja had already found out about the invasion. He and Kuroninja Gold were busy fighting Shadow Golems and Nemesis Clan soldiers. Kuroninja Gold was also doing more damage to the Nemesis Clan than Kuroninja.

That was when another portal opened.

“Oh come on,” Kuroninja said. “How can these guys keep going, even after we destroyed most of their army?”

However, instead of another wave of Shadow Golems, only one soldier appeared.
“Don’t attack!” The soldier said. “I’m here with a message from Lord Nemesis. We have captured one of Kuroninja’s students, and if you want her kept alive, then you must go to the mountains and give Lord Nemesis the Sword of Absolute Power.”

The soldier then left.

Kuroninja and Kuroninja Gold knew what they had to do. They rushed to the mountains, ready to rescue Natsuki.

Meanwhile, Lord Nemesis and Bronzar were on the mountains, with Natsuki trapped in a small cage. The messenger entered through a portal.
“Did you send them the message?” Lord Nemesis said.
“Yes,” the soldier said.
“Good,” Lord Nemesis said.
“Wait a minute…” Bronzar said. “I thought we captured Ikustan!”
“So did I,” Lord Nemesis said, “but Ikustan’s actually with Yajin Niroku. So I went to our mysterious informant, the Peace Officer, who claims that this girl is Natsuki, and she’s a student in the Kuroninja Dojo.”
“Don’t you find it weird that Ikustan and Natsuki look very similar to each other?” Bronzar said.
“Enough about this,” Lord Nemesis said. “They’re here.”

Kuroninja and Kuroninja Gold had arrived on the mountains.
“Are you here to surrender?” Lord Nemesis said.
“Where’s Natsuki?” Kuroninja said.
Lord Nemesis clapped twice. The soldiers pulled Natsuki’s cage over to where Kuroninja could see her.

“Let my student go,” Kuroninja said.
“The Sword, first,” Lord Nemesis said.
“Never!” Kuroninja said. “We won’t give the sword to you, right, Kuroninja Gold?”

Suddenly, Kuroninja Gold walked toward Lord Nemesis and presented the Sword of Absolute Power in front of him.
“What the heck, Kuroninja Gold?” Kuroninja said.
“Sorry,” Kuroninja Gold said, “but sacrifices have to be made.” He then gave Lord Nemesis the sword. Kuroninja was shocked, but then Kuroninja Gold punched Lord Nemesis in the waist. Lord Nemesis then let go of the Sword of Absolute Power, which fell back into Kuroninja Gold’s hands. Kuroninja Gold then sliced Lord Nemesis with the Sword, dealing a lot of damage.

“You fool!” Lord Nemesis said. “You should’ve joined my side while you had the chance, Kuroninja Gold!”
Lord Nemesis signalled the guards with a thumbs down, telling them to throw Natsuki’s cage off the mountain. Kuroninja rushed into the cage and got Natsuki out, but the cage fell down, taking Kuroninja with him.

Bronzar and the soldiers went down to search for Kuroninja’s body, while Lord Nemesis, badly hurt by the Sword of Absolute Power, had no choice but to leave through a portal. Natsuki was with Kuroninja Gold, and she was shocked that Kuroninja was dead. Now, there was no one who could teach her how to be a ninja, especially since right now, Natsuki was terrible at even the most basic of ninjutsu. But then, Natsuki remembered how Anti-Kuroninja used Void Ninjutsu to save her from Ikustan. Natsuki then left the mountain, ready to search for Anti-Kuroninja.

Meanwhile, below the mountains, Bronzar and the soldiers went to where Kuroninja and the cage landed. Only this time, Kuroninja wasn’t there. Only a straw dummy in black ninja robes.

Kuroninja Gold was looking down, when he saw Kuroninja.
“Kuroninja!?” Kuroninja Gold said. “But…I thought you fell off the mountain!”
“Oh, please,” Kuroninja said. “Did you really think I would just die when my name is in the title of this series?”
“Actually,” Kuroninja Gold said, “My name is in the title.”
“Not just this season,” Kuroninja said. “I was talking about the entire Kuroninja series. Now let’s get out of here.”
Kuroninja and his Earth-25 counterpart left the mountains, walking back to Kuroninja’s house.

Menawhile, Natsuki had finally reached Cyber Island. She knocked on the door. Anti-Kuroninja answered on the intercoms.
“What is it?” Anti-Kuroninja said.
“I want to become a Void Ninja,” Natsuki said.
“No way,” Anti-Kuroninja said. “Not anyone can become a Void Ninja.”
“Can you just teach me?” Natsuki said. “Kuroninja’s dead, and my ninja skills are bad.”
“Look,” Anti-Kuroninja said. “You’re not exactly Void Ninja material. The Art of the Void Ninja is really difficult, even for an expert like me, and it’s not for everyone. You can try, but that’s about it.”
“So what if it’s difficult?” Natsuki said. “I almost lost my neck to Ikustan twice, all because I can’t even do a simple punch or kick! No matter what you do, Anti-Kuroninja, I’M NOT LEAVING UNTIL YOU TEACH ME HOW TO BE A VOID NINJA!

It was at this moment Anti-Kuroninja knew that Natsuki was defnitely not suitable to become a Void Ninja.
