Lupinranger vs Patoranger Episode 38 Review

The Lupinrangers get all the powerups, but that doesn’t make them the best team! It’s the story that makes them the best team.

Hey guys, it is I, Kuroninja! Happy Halloween everybody, and it’s time for me to review Lupinrangers vs Patoranger episode 38! This is a good episode because ever since we’ve gotten a lot of filler, now the main plot is progressing further.

So basically, in this episode, there’s a Lupin Collection thing in space, and the Lupinrangers have to get it. Now this Lupin Collection piece is none other than the Victory Striker.

Meanwhile, the Patorangers run into 2 Ganglers. One of them is a lobster Gangler, and the other is this episode’s Gangler of the week, whose Lupin Collection piece lets him control vehicles. However, he can only control 1 at a time. This is when Zamigo finally shows up, and Zamigo’s appearances in this series are like Chris Jericho’s appearances in NJPW: when he appears, you know that the episode is very special, and something intense is about to happen. For Chris Jericho, he attacked EVIL and challenged him to a match for the IWGP Intercontinental Championship at Power Struggle, which I’m going to watch soon. As for Zamigo in this episode, he shot the lobster Gangler, who instantly got frozen in ice, and then the ice shattered. Now here’s a little spoiler: that lobster Gangler returns in the next episode, so this episode actually revealed something: anyone who gets shot by Zamigo doesn’t really die, they just get sent somewhere else, probably another dimension.

Now this is the part where everyone’s complaining about this episode: Inside Victory Striker was another VS Vehicle, Siren Striker. Guess who uses Siren Striker? That’s right, LupinX! He uses it to transform into Super LupinX. However, you shouldn’t complain just because the Lupinrangers get more powerups. There’s no point in complaining, as it’s really obvious that the Lupinrangers and Patorangers will work together. I see LupinX using the Siren Striker as a foreshadowing of unity between the 2 Sentai teams. Oh, and by the way, Ryuusouger is the 43rd Sentai Team, not the 44th.

This episode was really cool, with 2 new powerups, and even better, Zamigo finally made an appearance, and we now know that those who get shot by him don’t die, they just get sent somewhere else. Since this episode furthered the main plot after so many episodes of filler, this episode for me, is...

Awesome

Anyway, that is all, and I have nothing to do with Shironinger!
