Kuroninja Gold Episode 1

Episode 1: Shadow Uprising, Part 1

On Earth-4, a black portal opened on a small deserted island. 3 people walked out of the portal: a tall, evil-looking figure who looked like a cyborg with a few decaying skin. He also resembled Lord Zedd, but instead of a Z, his symbol was the letter N. The other two were an evil black and red version of Kuroninja surrounded by an aura of black flames, and a girl with pink hair, black eyes, holding a barbecue skewer. These three were Lord Nemesis, former ruler of Earth-4, who had just recently escaped Darkprism, along with Yajin Niroku and Ikustan, the duo from the Shadow Realm that broke him out of prison. Bronzar, the right hand man of Lord Nemesis, a titan armoured in bronze, arrived at the same time. Lord Nemesis wanted to conquer Earth-4 again. But for now, he had to set up a base on this island. Yajin Niroku and Ikustan were bored, so they created a black portal and left Earth-4 through there.

Meanwhile, on Earth-1, Kuroninja had recently opened a ninja school. However, right now, he was somewhere else, so Flower Ninja Ayame, the blue ranger and leader of the Flowery Kunoichi Team and one of Kuroninja’s girlfriends, was in charge. Sakura, another member of the Flowery Kunoichi Team, came up to Ayame, asking where Kuroninja was, because Kuroninja was needed for the opening ceremony of the new Kuroninja Ninjutsu Dojo.

Kuroninja was on a date with another of his girlfriends: Umika Hayami, who worked as a waitress in a restaurant that served French food. Umika was secretly a phantom thief known as LupinYellow, one member of the Lupinrangers. Kuroninja went to his date wearing a black suit and a black mask, similar to the ones that the Lupinrangers wore. This wasn’t to acknowledge Umika being a Lupinranger, though. It was because Kuroninja never let anyone know what he looked like in public. Kuroninja never took his helmet off, not even when eating. How he eats under that helmet, we will never know.

The reason why Kuroninja and Umika were on a date at a fancy restaurant was because they had been together since the first day they met each other. Umika was the one who had feelings for Kuroninja, and because of Kuroninja’s expertise in polyamory, he decided to return them, even though Kuroninja was really after a police officer from the GSPO who went by the name of Tsukasa. Oh, and by the way, Tsukasa’s a girl.

Another reason why they were on this date was because Kuroninja had recently survived a really long battle against the Bioninja Organic Organization and the leader of a giant extradimensional snake army, so Kuroninja was tired. He needed to relax. And who better to relax with than LupinYellow?

Kuroninja and Umika were in a fancy restaurant that was known for its seafood. As an appetizer, Kuroninja ordered a type of sushi known as sayori nigiri. It was a silver/white fish that was a little small. Because of Kuroninja’s diet, for the main course, Kuroninja didn’t order any filet mignon or steak. He ordered a large plate of shrimp and fish tempura for him and Umika to share. Kuroninja was almost done with his side of the tempura, but then an explosion happened. Kuroninja quickly shielded Umika from the explosion, but was temporary hurt from doing so. He then looked up and barely saw a black portal. Out of the black portal came two people: Yajin Niroku and Ikustan.

“Oh come on,” Kuroninja said. “You ruined my date, and I don’t feel like fighting!”

“That’s a shame,” Yajin Niroku said. “We wanted to see how powerful Kuroninja was.”

“Wait...” Kuroninja said, worriedly. “How do you know my name?”

“I’ll let you figure that out,” Yajin Niroku said, as he threw some black rocks on the floor. Some black mist formed around the rocks, which formed into what looked like Golems from Kyoryu Sentai Zyuranger.

Kuroninja then got out his Kuroninja Shuriken and transformed into his ranger form. He then charged at the Shadow Golems, slicing through all of them, while at the same time, telling everyone to back off so they wouldn’t get hurt or caught in the fight. After Kuroninja defeated the Shadow Golems, they turned into black dust and disappeared. But that was when Yajin Niroku started calling “OH KURONIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINJA!”

Kuroninja turned around and saw Ikustan and two Shadow Golems, who had captured Umika. They then left through a portal to another universe.

“If you want to save your partner,” Yajin Niroku said, “bring your best self. Not the weakling I’m looking at now. And if you don’t show up in 5 hours, the yellow flower you’ve been together with since the first day...she’s gonna meet a sticky end.”

Yajin Niroku then threw something at Kuroninja, which Kuroninja caught. The shadow guys then left through the portal, taking Umika with them.

Later, Kuroninja was in his bedroom, thinking about Umika.

“Uhh...Kuroninja, I think someone’s here to see you,” someone said.

Kuroninja then opened the front door to his large house/dojo and saw Anti-Kuroninja.

“What the heck, Anti-Kuroninja?” Kuroninja said. “You can’t just go in here uninvited! The Flowery Kunoichi Team doesn’t like you.”

“Calm down,” Anti-Kuroninja said. “I heard that someone wants to replace me as your archenemy. That’s not going to happen.”

Kuroninja was frustrated. “Look, Anti-Kuroninja,” he said. “I’m having a really tough schedule. Not only do I have to prepare for my ninja school’s opening ceremony, but I also have to rescue Umika in 5 hours or else that shadowy version of me will kill her!”

“Hmmm,” Anti-Kuroninja said. “Why don’t you just date someone else? That can make you feel better-“

“You don’t get it,” Kuroninja said. “I don’t play favourites with my multiple relationships. I can’t just replace Umika with anyone! I’ve got to rescue her. By the way, Anti-Kuroninja, do you know what this means?”

Kuroninja gave Anti-Kuroninja the piece of paper that Yajin Niroku gave him.

“Yes,” Anti-Kuroninja said. “That leads to... the basement level of...Cyber Island? But how do they even know where it is?”

“To be honest,” Kuroninja said, “I don’t know either.”

Meanwhile, on Earth-4, Lord Nemesis and Bronzar were exploring the island they arrived on, which they were going to use as their base of operations. Inside this island was a lab, featuring blueprints for super soldiers in ranger gear, which would later be used to create the Enforcers, who used to be part of Lord Nemesis’ army until Akuroninja took over. Bronzar saw an old prototype of the gear Akuroninja used to travel to other universes.

Lord Nemesis then realized something: Akuroninja was planning on expanding his empire by conquering other worlds instead of just Earth-4. And now this gave Lord Nemesis an idea. He opened a portal to Earth-1 and told Bronzar to go there. Bronzar left through the portal as it closed.

Meanwhile, Kuroninja had to rescue Umika from Cyber Island. He wasn’t going to let Yajin Niroku and Ikustan kill her, because he knew how much Umika loved him. Kuroninja swam towards Cyber Island, entering from underwater.

Kuroninja then swam upwards to the surface, where he found himself inside the basement. Kuroninja kicked the door down and saw Umika, who was captured, hanging above a vat of acid. Yajin Niroku and Ikustan were at the control panel, when they saw Kuroninja.

“Oh there you are,” Yajin Niroku said. “Just in time to see your other half die.”

“Let her go,” Kuroninja said. “What do you want?”

“You already gave me what I want,” Yajin Niroku said. “I wanted the best Kuroninja to show up here. You’ve passed the determination and strength test, but now let’s make this even more fun.”

Yajin Niroku pressed a button, revealing that Momoninger had been captured too, and was also about to fall into a vat of acid.

“This time, Kuroninja...” Yajin Niroku said, “You get to choose. Whoever you choose to rescue, the other one dies. And if you don’t choose in 10 seconds, I’ll just kill both of them.”

Kuroninja sliced Umika’s chains and rescued her. Yajin Niroku then pressed the button, dropping Momoninger into the vat of acid.

“Thanks for saving me,” Umika said. “But...Momoninger, she’s...”

“That was just a decoy,” Kuroninja said. “I brought the Profiler Shuriken with me, and there were no signs of Momoninger in this room.”

“Very clever,” Yajin Niroku said. “But we’re not letting you go that easily!”

Yajin Niroku and Ikustan then charged at Kuroninja and Umika. Umika transformed into LupinYellow, ready to fight off the Shadow Realm duo.

Kuroninja and Yajin Niroku clashed with their ninja swords. Yajin Niroku started teleporting in the shadows, while it was hard for Kuroninja to keep up. Meanwhile, LupinYellow was fighting Ikustan. Ikustan got out a barebecue skewer and threw it at LupinYellow. LupinYellow dodged it, but then the skewer exploded. This distracted LupinYellow from the fact that Ikustan was about to punch her in the face.

Kuroninja, meanwhile, got out his Kage Shuriken and spun it, creating a cloud of fog so that Yajin Niroku couldn’t see him. This time, it didn’t work. Yajin Niroku could still track down Kuroninja.

“How is this possible?” Kuroninja said.

“Don’t you get it yet?” Yajin Niroku said.

And then it hit Kuroninja.

Yajin Niroku wasn’t a counterpart of Kuroninja from the main Multiverse. He was Kuroninja’s counterpart from the Shadow Realm.

“I’m surprised it took a long time for you to find out,” Yajin Niroku said.

Meanwhile, Ikustan was about to snap LupinYellow’s neck, but then Yajin Niroku stopped her.

“We’ve got to get going,” Yajin Niroku said. “But for now, that is all, and I have nothing to do without Shironinger!”

Yajin Niroku and Ikustan then left.

Later, Kuroninja and Umika had returned back to mainland. Umika had to go back to rest, while Kuroninja had to go back for the opening ceremony of his new Ninjutsu dojo. Kuroninja and Umika parted ways, knowing that no matter where they were, no matter how far from each other they were, they were still together since the first day.

Meanwhile, Lord Nemesis saw a black shadow portal open in front of him. Yajin Niroku and Ikustan had returned.

“Have you got what you need?” Lord Nemesis asked.

“Yes,” Yajin Niroku said. “Hey, where’s Bronzar?”

“He’s travelling to Earth-1,” Lord Nemesis said. “And so are you.”

“What?” Yajin Niroku said. “But we just came from there- oh, is that a portal-creating device? Hey, what are you doing, put me down- AAAAAAHHHH!”

Lord Nemesis threw Yajin Niroku into the portal.

“Soon,” Lord Nemesis said, “the Nemesis Clan will rule over worlds once more.”
