Kuroninja Gold Episode 3

Episode 3: The First Day

It was the first day. The first day where Kuroninja would teach some students and pass down his ninja skills to many others. This was the first day Kuroninja would be teaching his shadow ninja techniques in the Kuroninja Ninjutsu Dojo. Kuroninja entered the room, ready to introduce himself to the new students.

There were many students in the dojo due to Kuroninja’s popularity, but a few stood out from the rest. First was Sayori, who joined the dojo for no reason. However, one of her friends, Natsuki, had also joined the dojo, because she wanted to become a ninja. She thought it could be useful in the future.

Next, was Antonio Vega, a guy in a red shirt with black hair. He was the most passionate out of all the students, and he also brought his own custom made ninja uniform, which featured a red mask and suit. The mask has a yellow four pointed star, known simply as the “Vega Emblem.” Kuroninja knew from looking at that red ninja suit, red ninja mask, and red shirt that Vega was going to be a handful.

Shinnosuke Nakamura was the next one that Kuroninja had his eye on. Nakamura specialized in thunder ninja skills, and his abilities focused mostly on sound. Apparently, Nakamura was the best at what he did, but he didn’t even seem to notice due to his humility.

Someone else had the name Nakamura, but they weren’t related. It was Haruna Nakamura, the Earth-1 counterpart of Haruna, who was supposed to become KuroNInja, but then that project was cancelled and KuroNInja ended up getting relocated to Earth-713. Hopefully Haruna Nakamura could impress Kuroninja, and the other students.

Finally, there was Kai Hirose. He was a master of any ninja techniques involving water, and his dad was an Orange Ninja who died in a battle between the Orange Ninjas and the Fishmen. However, Hirose was a blue ninja, not an orange ninja. He tried doing anything to make sure that no one would notice him, but he got the attention of Kuroninja anyway.

“Alright!” Kuroninja said. “Now that we’re all gathered round, it’s time for me to teach you guys how to be a ninja! Now, first, I need to talk about stealth. Stealth is one of the most important features in Ninjutsu. Have any of you been stealthy before?”

“Well,” Natsuki said, “There was this one time I almost got caught eating sugar from the kitchen by my papa. I tried denying it, but papa was getting suspicious and thought I was lying when I said I wasn’t eating sugar. He then told me to open my mouth, so I just went ‘ha ha ha!’ Oh, and I also have a secret manga collection in a secret compartment in my room...”

“That’s enough, Natsuki,” Kuroninja said. “At least let the others speak.”

“Ok, it’s my turn,” Antonio Vega said. “Back home in Mexico, I used to compete in Lucha Libre. I would always wear a mask so nobody knew who I am. But then I lost the mask in a Lucha de apuestas match against a luchador who went by the name of El Perdedor.

“Ooh, I’ve got a stealth story!” Haruna said. “There was a time when everyone thought I retired from being a singer. But I was actually in a secret cave, preparing to make even more songs!”

“Hmm...” Antonio Vega said. “I think someone might’ve written a cover of one of those songs, but I don’t know.”

“Alright,” Kuroninja said. “Now that I know your experience with stealth, I guess we’ve got a lot to learn. First off, every ninja has a specialty. So for your first lesson, all you have to do is show me what you’ve got.”

Meanwhile, on Cyber Island, Anti-Kuroninja was having problems. He couldn’t think of anything that would get Kuroninja to recognize him as his archenemy. Anti-Kuroninja went to his desk, crumpled a piece of paper into a ball, threw it in the garbage, and sighed.

“I wish I could prove to Kuroninja that I’m worthy of being his archenemy,” Anti-Kuroninja muttered.

Suddenly, a black portal opened, and Yajin Niroku and Ikustan appeared from the portal.
“Your wish is our command,” Yajin Niroku said.
“You!” Anti-Kuroninja said, reaching for his Cyberblade. “You’re the guy trying to replace me as Kuroninja’s archenemy!”
“Woah woah woah,” Yajin Niroku said. “We’re not trying to replace you. You see, we heard your wish and decided to show up here.”
“So...you’re granting wishes?” Anti-Kuroninja said. “What are you, some kind of evil genie or something?”
“No,” Yajin Niroku said. “Do we look like genies? No, you don’t need to rub some magic oil lamp or something. This is a one-time opportunity to get what you want.”
“Ok, fine,” Anti-Kuroninja said. “But if you mess up, your deal is over.”

Anti-Kuroninja then went back to his desk, preparing his Cyberninja army, while Yajin Niroku and Ikustan went to the corner of the room, away from Anti-Kuroninja’s sight.
“Are you sure you want to continue helping villains’ wishes come true?” Ikustan said.
“Well,” Yajin Niroku said, “We need to make a living somehow. Besides, it will take a while for us to take the Sword of Absolute Power from Kuroninja Gold. Then we’ll use it to destroy Lord Nemesis and take Earth-4 for ourselves. We’ll do whatever we want with it!”
“This is gonna be fun,” Ikustan said, as she took a bite from a barbecue skewer.

Back at Kuroninja’s dojo, Kuroninja left the students while they trained. He then went to the secret room, accessed by pulling on the marble samurai statue’s katana. Flower Ninja Yuri was there.

“Hey, Kuroninja!” Yuri said. “So I was thinking, maybe we should spend some time together? You almost forget about me, even though I’m an orange ranger.”
“Ok, Yuri,” Kuroninja said. “It’s Episode 3, after all. All that’s missing is the Fishmen.”
“Please don’t bring up the Fishmen,” Yuri said. “But seriously, Kuroninja, I haven’t really been doing anything lately.”
“Sorry about that, Yuri,” Kuroninja said. “It’s just that there’s someone with the same name who’s more popular than you. It might get everyone confused.”
“Is it that girl with the knife and the purple hair?” Yuri said.
“Yes,” Kuroninja said, “although she doesn’t really go to Earth-1 that much. Wait a minute, what are we doing in this secret room?”
“Well,” Yuri said, “I noticed a lot of Cyberninjas approaching the dojo.”
“So what?” Kuroninja said. “This happens all the time.”
“Well here’s the thing,” Yuri said. “Look very closely at who’s leading them.”

Kuroninja looked at the camera footage and saw Yajin Niroku, Ikustan, and Anti-Kuroninja.

“Wait a minute,” Kuroninja said. “Why is Anti-Kuroninja working with Yajin Niroku? I thought he hated him because He thinks Yajin Niroku will replace his role as my archenemy, even though me and Anti-Kuroninja aren’t archenemies in the first place! Oh well, we still have to stop them!”
Kuroninja then grabbed his Kuroninjatō and prepared to fight the Cyberninjas. Just like always, he defeated all of them in just 10 seconds.

However, Yajin Niroku was prepared. He pulled out another heart shaped shadow stone from his bag and shoved it into one of the Cyberninjas. That Cyberninja rose up with black eyes and enhanced power.

“What the...” Anti-Kuroninja said. “How did you do that?”
“This is the power of the Shadow Cores,” Yajin Niroku said.

The Shadow Cyberninja was very powerful against Kuroninja. He punched Kuroninja, sending him flying straight into a wall. The Shadow Cyberninja then charged towards the dojo, ready to destroy it.

“Excellent,” Anti-Kuroninja said. “Once I destroy Kuroninja’s dojo, he will finally recognize me as his archenemy!”
“You’re welcome,” Yajin Niroku said. Yajin Niroku and Ikustan then left to enter the dojo. Many of the students who saw Yajin Niroku were completely unprepared. They weren’t ready to fight anyone from the Shadow Realm before. However, they still had to defend themselves from the attack.

Yajin Niroku began summoning Shadow Golems to attack the students, but Kai Hirose washed them all away by summoning a wave of water. Shinnosuke Nakamura fought the Shadow Golems one by one, in hand to hand combat. Antonio Vega was helping him, when he saw Sayori, who had no ninja experience at all, being surrounded by Shadow Golems. Sayori couldn’t defend herself, so she just curled up into a ball, scared. Vega dashed towards Sayori’s location and took down the Shadow Golems with his Fire Ninja abilities.

“Thanks for saving me, Antonio,” Sayori said.
“That was nothing,” Vega said. “This is not the start of anything special, I only saved you because I can.”
Vega then left, with Sayori acting a little confused on why Antonio saved her life.

Meanwhile, Natsuki was being cornered by the Shadow Golems, trying to fight them off one by one with her very little experience as a ninja. But then, Yajin Niroku and Ikustan appeared. Ikustan trapped Natsuki in a corner, and dropped a barbecue stick on the floor. Ikustan was ready to break Natsuki’s neck.

Suddenly, a voice yelled “STOP THIS!”

It was Anti-Kuroninja.

“Anti-Kuroninja, what are you doing?” Yajin Niroku said.
“You broke the code,” Anti-Kuroninja said.
“But...” Yajin Niroku continued, “isn’t this what you want, Anti-Kuroninja? To prove that you’re worthy of being Kuroninja’s archenemy again?”
“Yes, it’s true. I do want to be Kuroninja’s archenemy...” Anti-Kuroninja said, “HOWEVER...over at the Cyberninja Tech Company, we don’t tolerate civilian casualties!”
“You fool...” Yajin Niroku said. “I don’t give a crap about any of these civilians! You’re in the way!” Yajin Niroku then shot an energy blast of shadow at Anti-Kuroninja.
Anti-Kuroninja then pointed his right hand at Yajin Niroku, with his palm opened, facing Yajin Niroku. Anti-Kuroninja’s left hand was in a fist position, behind Anti-Kuroninja’s right hand.
“Void Ninpō: Void Barrier!” Anti-Kuroninja said, as a colourless barrier formed in front of him, blocking the energy blast.

Anti-Kuroninja was a Void Ninja. Void Ninjutsu was one of the many weaknesses of Shadow Ninjutsu, but it was really hard to master. Only a few had the capability to become Void Ninjas. Yajin Niroku fired more dark matter blasts at Anti-Kuroninja, who nullified the attacks by catching them with his hands. He then stepped in front of Yajin Niroku, facing him, and punched Yajin Niroku in the gut, releasing a shockwave of Void energy and sending Yajin Niroku and Ikustan back to the Shadow Realm.

Anti-Kuroninja then went to find Kuroninja. Kuroninja was busy fighting the Shadow Cyberninja, which deactivated after the shadow duo left.
“Hey, uhh...Kuroninja?” Anti-Kuroninja said. Kuroninja turned around.
“What is it, Anti-Kuroninja? Where’s Yajin Niroku?” Kuroninja asked suddenly.
“I fired them,” Anti-Kuroninja said. “Don’t worry, I’ll make it up to you by repairing the dojo.”
“Ok,” Kuroninja said. “Does that mean you’ll stop...”
“And then,” Anti-Kuroninja continued, “once I’m done fixing the Kuroninja Ninjutsu Dojo, I will go back to being your archenemy, Kuroninja! Soon you will lose to Anti-Kuroninja, ninja of the Void!”
“Nevermind,” sighed Kuroninja.

Meanwhile, in Kuroninja’s secret lab underneath the dojo, Flower Ninja Yuri was checking on some stuff, when suddenly, a gold portal opened. Kuroninja Gold walked out of the portal.

“Where’s Kuroninja?” Kuroninja Gold asked.
