Kuroninja Gold Episode 2

Episode 2: Shadow Uprising, Part 2

After running into new villains and rescuing Umika, Kuroninja was now focused on the grand opening ceremony of the new Kuroninja Ninjutsu Dojo. He got out his weapon, the Kuroninjatō, which he would use to cut the ribbon and open the dojo to the public.

Many people were invited to the opening ceremony including the Igasaki ninjas, who also worked as the Ninningers, Tsurugi Otori, Kuroninja’s very influential friend from another universe known as Earth-9, and Keisatsu Sentai Patoranger. Kuroninja also wanted to invite Umika to the event, but she couldn’t go because of what happened.

Surprisingly, Sayori was also attending the ceremony. Kuroninja was walking around, shaking everyone’s hands, when he ran into her and another girl from the same school with pink hair and a tray of cupcakes.
“Oh hey Sayori,” Kuroninja said. “What are you doing here?”
“I’m interested in becoming a ninja,” Sayori said.
“Ok,” Kuroninja said, surprised that Sayori wanted to become a ninja.
“Oh, Kuroninja,” Sayori said, “I also want to introduce you to one of my friends from the book club.”
Kuroninja was then greeted by the pink haired girl with pink eyes. Kuroninja thought she looked familiar somehow.
“Hey Kuroninja!” the girl said. “The name’s Natsuki, and I brought cupcakes for the opening ceremony. Also, I’m only here because Sayori forced me here.”
“I think I’ve seen you somewhere before,” Kuroninja said, thinking about something.
“You don’t remember me?” Natsuki said. “I was the one who kidnapped Momoninger a few months ago.”

The Ninningers were overhearing the conversation between Natsuki and Kuroninja.
“Is it true?” Yakumo asked.
“Yes,” Kasumi said. “I once got kidnapped by a school girl with pink hair and pink eyes when I was busy dyeing my hair.”

Kuroninja then went over to the entrance where the ribbon was, and pulled out his Kuroninjatō. Then he tried to get everyone’s attention.
“Hey guys,” Kuroninja said, “It is I, Kuroninja, and I think it’s time for us to officially declare the Kuroninja Ninjutsu Dojo...OPEN!”
Kuroninja then sliced the ribbon with his ninja sword, officially opening the dojo.

“Hmmm....” Natsuki said. “This ninjutsu thing sounds interesting.”

Meanwhile, Bronzar, Yajin Niroku, and Ikustan arrived through a portal to Earth-1.
“Why are we even going back here, Bronzar?” Yajin Niroku said. “This is so boring.”
“Shut up, Yajin Niroku,” Bronzar said with a gruff voice. “We are looking for something that Lord Nemesis wants.”
“Oh...” Yajin Niroku said. “You’re talking about that, right? But...I don’t think that’s on Earth-1.”
“I know,” Bronzar said, “But the one who has it will come here, to us.”
“This is gonna be fun,” Ikustan said, as she was eating a barbecue skewer.

Meanwhile, in the Kuroninja Dojo, Kuroninja and Ayame were walking by. Kuroninja told Sakura to take care of the guests, while Kuroninja had some important business to do. He walked to the end of one of the hallways in the dojo. In this end was a black wall and a marble sculpture of a samurai, with a katana held in the saya, the scabbard, or sheath, or where you would put a sword if you weren’t using it. Kuroninja grabbed the katana’s handle, and rotated it 180 degrees clockwise. He then pressed his thumb on the kashira (similar to the pommel of a sword) of the katana. The wall began to open, revealing a secret elevator.

Kuroninja and Ayame entered the elevator, which descended to the basement.

In the basement was a secret lab. None of Kuroninja’s students or those not close to Kuroninja would know anything about this. It was a place for Kuroninja to perform his secret missions, and it was a luxury that Kuroninja’s old house in the woods didn’t have. This lab had a lot of equipment that was mostly designed for spies. Kuroninja had gained access to all this stuff thanks to some of his friends from Earth-9, especially the legendary Tsurugi. Not only was there spy equipment, but there was also a pool table, some arcade machines, a hot tub, and a small corner with some bean bags and a lounge chair.

Flower Ninja Yuri, the orange ranger of the Flowery Kunoichi Team, was waiting for Kuroninja, along with Flower Ninja Ran, Kuroninja’s apprentice and not only the purple ranger of the Flowery Kunoichi Team, but the VERY FIRST PURPLE RANGER IN ALL OF SUPER SENTAI. Everyone went over to the control panel.

“Ok,” Kuroninja said, “so what’s going on? I’ve got so many guests waiting outside.”
“Well, Kuroninja, you’ve gotta take a look at this,” Yuri said.
Kuroninja looked at the computer, which showed readings of a portal opening. Energy readings from that portal were very high.
“What could this mean?” Kuroninja said.
“Well,” Ayame said, “I decided to look closer at this portal, and we found out that it’s made from shadow energy.
“Shadow energy?” Kuroninja said. “What’s that?”
“It’s the type of energy that gives you most of your ninja powers, Kuroninja.” Ayame said.
“So, basically,” Kuroninja said, “every time I use one of my ninja techniques, like the cloud of fog, or the illusion stuff, I’m using shadow energy?”
“Yes,” Ayame said.
“So...someone used shadow energy to make this portal,” Kuroninja said, thinking. And that’s when it hit him. He remembered what happened on his date with Umika. Then he remembered what happened after he rescued Umika. He remembered how Yajin Niroku was the Kuroninja of the Shadow Realm.
“Where was the portal?” Kuroninja said, grabbing some weapons and gear.

Meanwhile, in a quarry, Yajin Niroku, Ikustan, and Bronzar were waiting. Bronzar was sitting down on a boulder, with his bronze greatsword drawn. Ikustan was cooking barbecue skewers on a barbecue grill she brought with her. Yajin Niroku was just standing there, tired.
“Can we go now?” Yajin Niroku said. “I don’t think he’s going to come.”
“I know how tiring this is,” Bronzar said, “but if we don’t get what Lord Nemesis wants, Lord Nemesis will have our heads...mostly yours, ‘cause you’re the new guys.”
“Don’t worry guys,” Ikustan said, as she handed out barbecue skewers to Bronzar and Yajin Niroku. “I brought barbecue sticks! We need enough energy so when he comes, I get to snap his neck!”
“What is it with you and snapping necks, Ikustan?” Yajin Niroku said.

Suddenly, several black shurikens flew out of nowhere, striking the ground, and leaving the Nemesis Clan surprised. Kuroninja then appeared in a puff of black smoke, with the blue and purple rangers of the Flowery Kunoichi Team appearing at the same time.

“You’re not the one we’re after,” Bronzar said. “Back off.”
“Wait, you’re after someone?” Kuroninja said.
“Yes, that’s right,” Bronzar said. “He wields a weapon containing enough power to take down our master, Lord Nemesis. However, we shall take that weapon from this mighty warrior and bring it to Lord Nemesis, where he shall use it to destroy anyone and anything standing in his path and take over the- Wait a minute! What makes you think I’ll just tell you everything?”
“You know what,” Yajin Niroku said. “You’re in the way.”

Yajin Niroku then summoned the Shadow Golems. Kuroninja and his two favourite members of the Flowery Kunoichi Team decided to introduce themselves.

“Hidden in the shadows, Kuroninja stands before you!”
“Flower Ninja Ayame!”
“Flower Ninja Ran!”

“Let’s get this over with,” Kuroninja said, as he and his team charged at the Shadow Golems.

Kuroninja, Ayame, and Ran took the Shadow Golems down with ease. Yajin Niroku seemed to notice, and realized what he was up against.
“Ok then,” he said, “it’s time to take things more seriously this time.”

Yajin Niroku pulled out a black heart-shaped (not the ❤️ symbol, the actual organ in the human body) stone from his bag. He then spilled iron dust onto the ground and dropped the heart-shaped stone onto the pile of iron dust. The dust started circling the stone, covering it and covering it, until forming a giant humanoid monster made of iron. This was the Iron Golem.

The Iron Golem charged at Kuroninja, elbowing him and sending him flying into a wall of rocks. The Iron Golem then charged at Ayame and Ran, taking them both down at the same time with clotheslines.

“No one’s going to save you now,” Yajin Niroku said, while laughing diabolically.

Suddenly, a golden portal opened from the sky, and a beam of golden light came from that portal and blasted itself onto the ground, next to the unconscious Kuroninja. Kuroninja woke up and noticed the light.

“Oh come on, not a Deus Ex Machina,” Kuroninja said. “Well, at least it’s not my annoying Earth-0 counterpart this time.”

The beam of light then stopped, revealing a Kuroninja in gold armour, similar to the colour scheme of KingRanger from Ohranger, except it was Kuroninja. This Kuroninja was striking a badass entrance pose, and he was holding a large, elegant sword with a golden blade and handle. Some kind of rainbow-coloured light reflected off the blade.

“Is that...” Ikustan said.
“Yes.” Bronzar said, interrupting Ikustan. “That’s the one we’re looking for.”
“Let the Iron Golem take care of him,” Yajin Niroku said. “Once he’s dead, we’ll take that sword and give it to Lord Nemesis.”
“But... I wanted to snap his neck!” Ikustan said.
“Seriously, stop it with the snapping necks, Ikustan,” Yajin Niroku said. “There’s a time for breaking people’s necks, and now is not that time.”

The Kuroninja in gold then began to rise from his awesome pose. He intimidatingly pointed his sword forward, and introduced himself.

“Wandering through the Multiverse, striking down its threats. Wielder of an ultimate force...Kuroninja Gold.”

“Kuroninja Gold?” Kuroninja said. “Hey, isn’t that the name of the...”
“Quiet, Kuroninja-1,” Kuroninja Gold said. “It’s my turn now.”

Kuroninja Gold then picked up his weapon, the Sword of Absolute Power, and charged at the Nemesis Clan. However, the Iron Golem appeared and prepared to attack Kuroninja Gold from behind.

Kuroninja Gold blocked the Iron Golem’s attack by raising his sword up. He then spun the sword around, slashing away at the Iron Golem and doing some damage, something that Kuroninja couldn’t do.

Kuroninja Gold then gripped the handle of the Sword of Absolute Power, which is where it started glowing. Kuroninja Gold then swung the sword and sliced the Iron Golem exactly 25 times.

The Iron Golem was still able to move, though. As soon as Kuroninja Gold turned his back, it readied its fist for another attack-

Until Kuroninja Gold planted the Sword of Absolute Power on the ground. The Iron Golem then stopped moving, and the cuts from the sword’s 25 slashes began glowing with a bright gold light. The Iron Golem then fell backward and exploded. The black heart-shaped stone turned to dust. Bronzar, Yajin Niroku, and Ikustan escaped through a portal because the dust was making them cough.

“Too easy,” Kuroninja Gold said.

Kuroninja got up and saw Kuroninja Gold in front of him.

“What the-?” Kuroninja said.
“Yes, that’s right,” Kuroninja Gold said. “I have arrived.”
“Why were those guys after you?” Kuroninja said.
“I’ll talk about that later,” Kuroninja Gold said. “By the way, don’t you have an opening ceremony or something?”
“H-how did you know?” Kuroninja said.
“You’ll find out later,” Kuroninja Gold said. He then left through a gold portal.

Meanwhile, in Lord Nemesis’s base, Lord Nemesis was upset with Bronzar, Yajin Niroku, and Ikustan.
“Useless!” Lord Nemesis said. “You failed to get me the Sword of Absolute Power! And for that, Yajin Niroku, you shall die.”
Lord Nemesis then prepared his staff, charging it up with energy, but then Yajin Niroku pointed a shadowy blade at him.
“We don’t even work for you, old man,” Yajin Niroku said, as he and Ikustan disappeared through a portal.
Lord Nemesis then fired the staff at the portal, but ended up destroying one of his own statues instead, as the portal had already closed.
“You know what?” Lord Nemesis said. “I don’t need those shadow realm guys. I’ll just look for the Sword of Absolute Power on my own!”

Meanwhile, everyone was impatiently waiting outside the dojo. Sakura was too boring for the guests. But then, Kuroninja reappeared just in time, right before anyone could leave.
“Ok, sorry for the long wait,” Kuroninja said, “but I’m here now! And now it’s time to officially declare the Kuroninja Ninjutsu Dojo.....OPEN!”
Kuroninja then sliced the ribbon in half with his Kuroninjatō. The dojo was now open.
“Alright, it’s open!” Kuroninja said. “But before you go, just remember...I have nothing to do with Shironinger!”

Everyone then went inside, ready to see the inside of the dojo. Little did they know that someone was watching them from far away. Someone in a light grey ninja suit who looked similar to Kuroninja. It was Anti-Kuroninja, Kuroninja’s self-proclaimed archenemy.
