Power Rangers Ninja Steel Episode 18 Review 💫
Before I began to work on this post, I noticed a gigantic spike in viewers. A lot of people were looking at my discontinued Kamen Rider Build reviews, it's almost like magic! Speaking of magic...
Hey guys, it is I, Kuroninja! Does anyone notice how in Power Rangers Ninja Steel, things seem to be so convenient? Like in this episode, Princess Viera sent the Lionzord star and morpher, which will be used in the next episode? But this episode isn't about the Lionzord. It's about a gift that came with the Lionzord stuff: a magic wand and a spell book. If you've been watching Ninja Steel for a long time, you definitely know who's into magic stuff. If you don't, it's Preston, the blue Ninja Steel Ranger.
So anyway, Preston decided to learn the stuff in the book, but you have to learn all the spells starting with the very first one. The first one, by the way, is the levitation spell. To cast the spell, you point the wand at something and say "Etativel!" If you want to know how lazy the spell is, read it backwards. I won't spoil what it is. At least Harry Potter's spells have less lazier names.
Now of course, if you have a magic themed episode, you need a magic themed villain (except for Shuriken Sentai Ninninger episode 38, because I don't see anything magical about THAT EPISODE's monster of the week). This week's contestant is Abrakadanger, who looks like a magic carpet. He's really good at magic, and proves to be a very dangerous threat, even turning the megazord to stone! But here's what I don't understand. If he knows a spell that can turn things to stone, then why didn't he use it on Preston when Preston didn't know how to make a proper barrier spell? Maybe he was afraid of turning the ninja power star to stone too.
So there's also this subplot involving Victor and Monty. Only one week until they do something that contributes to the plot. But for now, they're trying to win a tennis trophy, and Hayley challenges them for the trophy. What's very strange is that Victor and Monty were able to create this robot that looks exactly like Victor, and Victor's the student council president, who also won a lot of trophies, yet they always get embarrassed a lot. Could this be a trick the entire time?
Anyway, that is all, and I have nothing to do with Shironinger!
