Kuroninja X Chapter 15

Chapter 15: Birthday Presence

One day, Kuroninja was walking down the street, when he bumped into Tsukasa, the pink ranger of Keisatsu Sentai Patoranger. Tsukasa dropped something, but Kuroninja picked it up for her. Then Tsukasa remembered how Kuroninja saved her from Devil Tower One back in episode 11 of Kuroninja X. Kuroninja was about to say that it was actually Blueroninja, the Kuroninja of Earth-119, but then he stopped himself, because he realized that there was a really big opportunity in front of him. Kuroninja went up to Tsukasa and asked if he could carry the stuff for her, as a nice gesture. Tsukasa said that she could handle it, but Kuroninja insisted. 

Later, Kuroninja and Tsukasa went upstairs, and Kuroninja noticed stuffed animals everywhere in her bedroom, after accidentally walking in there. Obviously she didn’t want anyone in there, so he escaped using the Kage Shuriken. After walking for a bit, Kuroninja realized that it was going to be Tsukasa’s birthday soon, so he had to get a present. And since Patoren3 liked stuffed animals, Kuroninja had the perfect idea. He would buy a stuffed animal as his birthday present to Tsukasa Myoujin.

After going to the store and buying a stuffed toy, Kuroninja was suddenly attacked by some Snakemen, who were sent there by the Bioninja Organic Organization. There was also a lotus-themed Cyberbioninja, who was attacking random people passing through, by releasing fruits into the air. The fruits tasted really good, but everyone who ate them fell asleep. Kuroninja didn’t know why the Bioninjas were doing this, but Lotus Biocyberninja was only putting the people to sleep, so that the Snakemen could throw them into the sea. Then there would be no one interfering in the Bioninja Organic Organization’s plans to spread their evil plants all over the world.

That was until the Snakemen’s eyes turned from yellow to glowing emerald green. They began attacking Lotus Cyberbioninja. Anti-Kuroninja was watching, but he wasn’t in his Underworld Form. He was in his normal, Anti-Kuroninja form. “Impossible,” Anti-Kuroninja thought.

“I’m not doing anything, and yet I don’t know anyone who can mind control with this power, except...”

Anti-Kuroninja realized that this mind control was coming from Pluto, lord of the Underworld and Interdimensional Guardian of Evil. Pluto appeared, along with a masked ninja in dark grey and olive green ninja robes. Kuroninja asked what he was doing here. Pluto said that he was there to search for the Ganglers, in his own, evil way. Pluto knew that the Ganglers were occupying his home dimension of the Underworld, but he didn’t know where they were. Kuroninja recognized this from Darkprism, but he couldn’t let the Underworld take over, especially since Pluto had mind control abilities. The Lotus Biocyberninja also gained green eyes and got put under Pluto’s control. It attacked Kuroninja by throwing sleeping gas grenades at him. Kuroninja fell asleep.

4 Snakemen proceeded to carry Kuroninja to a secret location, not for Pluto to deal with, but his masked ninja companion, who seemed to have a bone to pick with Kuroninja. As the Snakemen carried the sleepy Kuroninja away, Kuroninja-10 and Ran, the 2 Orchid Ninjas rushed to the area to try and stop Pluto. Pluto, however, was done, and returned to the Underworld via an emerald green portal. Lotus Biocyberninja wasn’t done, however, because he had recovered from his mind control due to Pluto leaving. He was given orders to stop Kuroninja-10, who was also a threat to the Bioninjas. But due to being an orchid ninja, the lotus sleeping gas had no effect on Kuroninja-10. It didn’t affect Ran either. Kuroninja-10 and Ran performed their finisher on Lotus Biocyberninja, who exploded.

Meanwhile, in an abandoned warehouse, the masked ninja in olive green had chained Kuroninja to a bed. Kuroninja asked “Who are you”? The masked ninja said “I thought you would remember me, Kuroninja! Oh, wait...you don’t remember who I am...”

“Even though I’m part of the Flowery Kunoichi Team.”

The masked ninja took her masked off, revealing that it was none other than Suiren, the olive green ranger of the Flowery Kunoichi Team, who Kuroninja really hated. She betrayed Kuroninja twice. First was when she was jealous that Kuroninja was giving Ran more attention than her, and 2nd, when she betrayed Kuroninja to join Anti-Kuroninja’s side. Kuroninja almost forgot about Suiren, that he never expected her to come back. But for some reason, Suiren could hold a grudge against Kuroninja for about 3 years. And she had been training in the Underworld to defeat Kuroninja.

However, Kuroninja wouldn’t fight Suiren. Suiren then transformed into her ranger form and said “How about now?” Kuroninja said “Ok,” and they began to fight. Suiren used a deadly emerald-bladed sword from the Underworld. Kuroninja was almost defeated by the necrotic effects of the Underworld’s dark magic and powers, but he was able to survive. He got out his Flower Shuriken and used it to repel the effects of the Underworld Blade. The Underworld Sword broke, but Suiren escaped through an olive green portal with an emerald green outline. Kuroninja also left the warehouse, knowing that this wasn’t the last he had seen of Suiren.

A few days later, it was March 10, and Kuroninja had finished wrapping the present for Tsukasa. He put it in a gift bag and headed for Tsukasa’s house. Tsukasa answered the door, and saw Kuroninja with his gift bag. “Happy Birthday, Tsukasa! This is for you,” Kuroninja said, as he gave her the gift.

“But...it isn’t my birthday...” Tsukasa said.

Kuroninja sighed, wondering how he got the date wrong, and how did he assume that Tsukasa Myoujin’s birthday was on the 10th of March?

Tsukasa then opened the gift and saw a stuffed animal inside. She was so overjoyed that Kuroninja got her a stuffed animal for her large collection, but she didn’t want anyone else to know about this. So she went to Kuroninja and said “Uhh...Kuroninja? I know it wasn’t my birthday, but...thanks for the gift anyway.” She then gave Kuroninja a kiss on the cheek and shut the front door. Kuroninja didn’t feel it because he was wearing his helmet. Kuroninja ALWAYS wore his helmet. Then he went outside the building and returned home.
