Kuroninja X Chapter 16

Chapter 16: Marked by the Scorpio

One day, Kuroninja and Ayame were fighting against some Snakemen sent to attack by the Bioninja Organic Organization. One of the Snakemen took off his mask, revealing its snake face. That snakeman bit Kuroninja on the arm, penetrating his armour. Kuroninja was poisoned. Fortunately, Ayame was able to defeat all the Snakemen, but Kuroninja had been poisoned.

Back at Kuroninja’s house, Kuroninja felt poisoned badly. Kuroninja-10 knew how to cure a Snakeman bite, but he forgot the antidote, because he thought Snakemen were easy to defeat. That was when Kuroninja remembered something. He remembered something about how his friend from Egypt, Khamun Rider the Tenth, had a scorpion statuette that represented Serket, the Egyptian scorpion goddess who could heal wounds caused by venom or poison. Kuroninja, Kuroninja-10, and Ayame would go to Egypt to find Khamun Rider X.

As soon as Kuroninja and his companions landed in Egypt, left the plane, and passed the security area, Khamun Rider X was there to greet him. Kuroninja-10 introduced himself to Khamun Rider X. Kuroninja then asked Khamun Rider X if he had a scorpion statuette. Khamun Rider X said that he did have one, but it was stolen from him. The person who stole it was holding an orange ninja star. Kuroninja didn’t really remember this guy, but Ayame knew who it was. It was Mark Scorpio, who Kuroninja had encountered before. Kuroninja then collapsed because of the snake venom. Kuroninja wasn’t used to getting bitten by a snake bite before. It was up to Kuroninja-10 and Ayame to find Mark Scorpio this time. But Khamun Rider X was going to help too. He got out his Sandstorm Driver, which absorbed some Egyptian sand, letting him wear the scarab-themed Khamun Rider armour. Khamun Rider X, Kuroninja-10, and Ayame went to find Mark Scorpio.

Meanwhile, Mark Scorpio was ready to meet the person buying the scorpion statuette. It was Nightshade, who was going to buy it for the Bioninja Organic Organization. Somehow, this scorpion statuette could not only cure venom, it could also enhance Snakemen, who were a little weak as a side effect of their venom. But then a sandstorm appeared, and Mark Scorpio dropped the statuette in the sand. Ayame appeared and got the statuette. Nightshade was about to pull out his Neocyberninja sword, but Mark Scorpio said “I got this.”

Mark Scorpio pulled out an orange Cyber Shuriken with the character for “scorpion” on it. He then rolled up one of his shirt’s sleeves, and revealed his golden Cyber Adapter. He placed the Shuriken in the Cyber Adapter and transformed into an orange, armoured scorpion monster. He then announced:

“Now, you have been marked by the Scorpio.”

Mark Scorpio was so powerful. He knocked out Ayame, who passed the statuette to Kuroninja-10. Kuroninja-10 got the statuette and escaped, but then he got cornered by Nightshade. Nightshade was about to knock out Kuroninja-10, but before he did, he gave the statuette to Khamun Rider X. Khamun Rider X summoned a large sandstorm and headed towards his house, where Kuroninja was resting. Mark Scorpio, however, had faster speed in his monster form. Khamun Rider X needed to hurry, fast.

Meanwhile, Nightshade was about to take Kuroninja-10 prisoner, but then Ayame had recovered. She kicked Nightshade in the face. Nightshade was now fighting 2 ninjas now. Kuroninja-10 performed his finisher on Nightshade. Nightshade was defeated, but then one of his berries was consumed, and he recovered. Then he retreated before Kuroninja-10 could go after him. Kuroninja-10 and Ayame saw Mark Scorpio about to attack Kuroninja while he was sick, so they went after him.

However, they were ambushed by Mark Scorpio, who had taken care of Khamun Rider X. Mark Scorpio then entered Khamun Rider X’s bedroom, but Kuroninja had recovered. When Khamun Rider X got knocked out, he dropped the scorpion statuette, which stung Kuroninja’s arm when it landed on the floor. This removed all the snakeman venom from Kuroninja. Kuroninja performed his finishing move on Mark Scorpio, defeating him and making him untransform.

Kuroninja was now cured, and he could leave Egypt. Khamun Rider X told Kuroninja to bring the statuette with him, in case more Snakemen attacked.

The next day, as soon as Kuroninja woke up, a red portal opened. Out came Agemo, one of the Interdimensional Guardians and the General Manager of the Gauntlet. The Gauntlet was being attacked by a very evil being that had the power to travel to other dimensions, and Kuroninja had to stop it to prevent the entire multiverse from going into unbalance.

Meanwhile, Mark Scorpio vowed to get revenge on Kuroninja for defeating him twice. He wasn’t going to lose a third time.
